Your videos along with a few other TH-camrs inspired me to buy some new machines and get back into moving dirt part time on the weekends. I bought a new Takeuchi TB260 and a TL12R2. I already have a lot of work lined up for the machines. Doing mostly land clearing at the moment. Keep up the great work you are doing with your videos!
@@drewgardner81 Loving both of them! The TL12R2 is a total beast with a good root rake and seriously moves dirt with the bucket. The TB260 is a joy to run as well.
Best entertainment ever!! We sure enjoyed you and your narration and the accent!! Taking land clearance to an all new height!!! So soothing and relaxing to watch. Our Son is enjoying this as well.
Hey Todd, I just want you to know, I appreciate you buddy! I have spent most of my working like in construction on the building and remolding side. Back in April I decided these old bones can't do it anymore so I took the leap of faith and bought some equipment. You videos filled in the blanks and answered many questions. I'm very grateful for the knowledge you have shared. BTW, I'm just down the mountain here in Spartanburg. I'd be willing to buy you dinner to show my appreciation.
Went to Chik Fil-a!? I'd be there with a bowl of popcorn! This was amazing to watch. Hoping to rent our first mini excavator mostly for this kinds of horrible briars that are impossible to do by hand. This was informative and cool to watch! Tx!
I have Kubota U17 and this is what I enjoy doing. Most of the time it's quick in and out jobs and I like watching an overgrown area transformed into a nice usable space. Nice work!
That looks about 10,000 times better than it did before! I laughed when you found the deer stand, I found one clearing around my pond with my little excavator. Have hunted out of it for 3 years since!
Nice Todd vision cast from cab. I love clearing land, I'm just glad I don't have to do it usually in tight spaces like where you are and worry about the property line so much. Thanks for taking me in the cab with you buddy have a good one
You do some of the best work iv seen! You've inspired me to go above and beyond what I already do. I knew to your channel but will definitely be watching all your content. Keep up the good work and keep the content coming!!!
I also hate those vines, many times they have pulled branches down onto my cab. Nice work. Oh snap! Just saw the low hanging power lines, eek... nice work on that too
My favorite kind of work!! But I HATE vines because they make me say bad words. LOL! Great work and it's always great to get more work from the same customer. Great job!
Always enjoy the 'Toddcasts'. Appreciate the way you try to share/teach in most every iteration of your channel. Keep it up and hoping the TH-cam support you get enables you to continue growing and succeeding in your dirty occupation - LOL. Merry Christmas to you and all the subscribers.
Man thats awesome i love watching you work. I'm 27 got a pretty decent mowing gig but been really wanting to do more heavy equipment. Done a few water lines and had Skidsteer but had a problem with people wanting to pay here in east tn. Seems like my problem every one wanted stuff so cheap. That looks really good. I ended up getting a dump trailer looking at trying get a yanmar 25 or 35 just start out.
Good to meet a fellow hillbilly today at the gas station. I know it adds time on to your day filming but you keep your fans entertained. Can’t wait to see your new tandem in action. Keep the video coming. Greg
Been wondering what machine is best for clearing nasty brush. Yours is it for sure!! I've got very similar terrain to clear and flatten. No way I can do it myself though.... I'll need a skilled operator like you to make it happen. Very educational...EXCELLENT video. Nice to see it's relatively easy for a real pro to do it in a day. Thanks!!! Jim
In this instance. What was done with all the brush and trees cleared? Removed or burned? Which would you recommend if you had a choice? Thanks in advance.
I love that type of work! Instant satisfaction... By any chance, have you looked into a guard for the front to protect the windshield / cab from those random impacts from tree's and branches. I picked one up for my JD. It's a good piece of mind
Great work! I'm thinking about buying a peice of equipment for weekend jobs. Could you get more work clearing land with an excavator or doing driveway work with your tractor?
I hope you get the opportunity to see my comment. I too am doing a majority of the same things you are. BUT my biggest question is. Do you have a CPA? And if so, when did you decide to hire one? Thank you! -Kaleb Walker- Walker Drainage & Excavating LLC
Your videos are always worth a rewatch ! -- Thanks Todd for doing what you do.
Glad you like them!
It's very relaxing to watch the brush and debris cleaned away for a cleaned up yard.
Awesome job. You definitely made it look easy!
Love your work, Todd. Great educational videos for any would-be dirt workers !!
Nice very clean that way you are doing good job

Great Job 👍

Cleaned up well
I do the same thing, very good insights.
Great job Todd, now if they just keep up with it or it will look the same quicker than they may think.

It's definitely a good idea. I just haven't built one yet
Where do you put all of the stuff?
Great work! I'm thinking about buying a peice of equipment for weekend jobs. Could you get more work clearing land with an excavator or doing driveway work with your tractor?
Probably driveway work
What is the best size excavator home demo
can u recommend somone that does driveways in TN.. tellico plains area?
Do you haul the debri off
Do you have the property surveyed before doing work like this? Seems a lot of people really have no idea where there property lines are.
My customers usually have it surveyed. But Im pretty good at finding corners
Hydraulic thumb really makes it a lot easier
Just curious, how come u don’t have a CTL
Do you mean CDL?
@@DigginLife21 Compact Track Loader or Skid Steer if we talking round tire machine.
@@draggerdriver ahhh. I just haven’t been able to purchase one yet
You started to mention something about only disturbing less than an acre. Is there some kind of rule about doing more than an acre?
A permit is required to disturb more than an acre in this location
We have a lot of brush aka thorns an those things hurt when they stick in your leg but I might rent a bobcat or a small machine any suggestions
Rip it ALL out!!!
How long did that job take? Great video!
I was contracted for a day. But id say it was around 5-6 hours
I talk every time i do cab views .... THE WHOLE TIME! i can only imagine how bored people get ..... nice job ole buddy!
I’d worry about poison ivy/oak! 😱 😃

We hired a CPA about two years ago I believe it was. Every business owner should have one if they aren't familiar with tax law.
Do you have a name for the Mack?
Not yet
Do you have any idea how many views you would get for "Bear fights excavator".
It would be off the charts!!!
Where's the hat!?!?
Ohhhh I still got it😁
Few! I'm digging the new hat but the other hat just makes the diggin life 👌 😆
