I love Lambrettas and have had many over the years but you can never quite shake the feeling the next time you turn the engine off you're going to have fun and games starting it again.
Absolutely great vid man, and no we definitely don't have roads like those in New York City! I just took my reeded RT225 across America, 12 states in 15 days, 2,696 miles! Lots of abuse and the kit is still going strong!
As you may now know, I was very supprised by the kit. Need to save my pennies and get myself one. Thanks for the comment and you must have a bum of steel!

I think you are right because we went from the non reed standard to tuned reed and Cst3. Have you had a broady tuned RT230 and Cst3 on thd dyno? The Cst3 doesn't flatter my SS240 though. Power still comes in at the end of the rev range.

Hi Matthew. Yes. This scooter first had the standard RT kit with a bgm clubman. Almost the same mid range and good torque but with the reed it has longer legs and almost matches my SS240 top end but is actually faster mid range. It depends on what you prefer. It's a little bit more fun with the reed and expansion but I will do a proper review on the standard rt kit as soon as the TV175 project is finished.
That's normal for a ts1. I went from a tmx35 to a tmx30 and practically halved fuel consumption without any noticeable power drop. If anything, it gained a little mid range torque 🤷♂️

Yes. It's a great setup for that and the odd weekend trip. Just be careful if you park a classic in London!
Try a different slide or use a washer under the needle clip to get 1/2 height steps on the 4 needle clip positions to fine adjust.
Slide is fine but will adjust the needle if we get some ok weather soon.
Hi Rob, interesting that the Rt reed tune has a finger boost port unlike mine which has a complete open boost port 😁
