- Sticky is first to test Casa Performance's new 333cc engine for Lambretta for ScooterLab.UK. Want to know why this configuration is ideally suited for touring, then watch the video and read the full article at: scooterlab.uk/...
If you haven't yet got a copy of The Complete Spanner's Lambretta Kit Book, then you can get it here: slukshop.uk/pr...
Finally a useful spread of power from casa which can be used on the British roads. great review and well done casa😊
At last they have made what l want and can afford. Loads of torque. Bang for buck!! I will be getting this asap🎉🎉❤❤❤
Very professional vid! The best point for me is the 2% oil. We have to travel with a shedload and the smoke produced from 4% makes us enemies everywhere we go.
I always use 2% anyway. Never had any trouble.
Good video Sticky and was expecting the kit to cost more. Pretty good value considering all the parts you are getting.
can't wait to hear latest improvements from the twin engine lambretta
THX Sticky for the nice video 👌
Wow that's near perfect 🎉
This just might do for my 200dl GP200 touring scooter, which will run a TS1 240 for it's first reincarnation. But I've been looking forward towards a large capacity touring engine with crankcase reed inlet to cut down on 2T bottles to carry, because within the next 2 years I want to do some very long rides. It's 1100 miles each way to ride to rallies in Oregon, for example, and I still want to do a continental tour. I've been looking at the GT300 LC, but the cost for this air cooled engine would be a lot cheaper and a lot easier to build into my bike and a lot easier to maintain given my skills.
Don't forget to watch after the end credit for a little easter-egg
Why no clubman style exhaust, I live in Spain and an expansion exhaust won’t get through an ITV test ?
Also cutting holes in my SX 200 side panel is unacceptable to me.
A real shame as I’ve been looking forward to the release of this engine
I adore series 1 aesthetics.
The finest Lambretta design.
@4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse They weren't popular prevalent on rallies in the 80s but they've found a soft spot with folk today.
Seriously tempted 😊
My next engine!
Its alot more sensible than them Frankenstein Lambretta's with Yamaha RD 350 ypvs? engines most ppl haven't the balls to go over 90mph on them, scooters are made for comfort and a bit of poke like you've done is enough plus strong enough to tour, nice Lambretta ☘️🍺
Brilliant long distance low stress motor. But agree something like a quattrini 260 Vespa would do similar but cheaper. Defo needs the 5 speed might as well 😂
@4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse just talking cost vs performance that’s all
looks good . wish i had the spare cash needed
How about adapting the Casa Cooler to take a starter motor for this engine ?
333 & CC.. Interesting Numbers. & it's for HARD Summer Riding I s33?
Interesting.
moist
let me think - i know those keypoint from somewhere (2% oil, ...)

Ho sempre lavorato su Piaggio, la.meccanica è completamente diversa, il tuo scooter è veramente forte ... quanti cavalli riesce a sviluppare con il 333 cv?
Un saluto
Keen to see the cost for this set up ?
It's mentioned in the video, and also in the article on SLUK scooterlab.uk/sledgehammer-cps-333cc-touring-engine-for-lambretta-first-road-test/
