Very nice.. So organized! Working from home, but also insomniac. So planning to convert all those hours spent staring at ceiling waiting to fall back asleep (never happens) into a 2nd shift getting back to my art.. dollmaking, at the moment. Paired Ikea tables as workstation is great idea. Have seen similar concept applied to kitchen islands.. very nice. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing your space. I am doing research on a surprise room design for my daughter's fashion design studio. This video helped me understand her potential storage needs and organization. I excel at organization and home design. I cannot wait to surprise her with a new branded workspace.
What a fab space wish I had so much dedicated sewing room. I have a brother serger but had my eye on the Babylock love the idea of auto threading particularly the loopers! Only had my brother for 12 months so need to wait a while
The airjet threading is a great feature, but there is a bit of manual threading to do - just a pinch. The best feature about this is the automatic tension settings!
Yes I enjoyed your tour, very nice layout and clean. I will not know how to sew in your studio, mines is cluttered and more cluttered. Soon I will approached the job.
LOVELY space! You are so on point with that suggestion for going to a dealer. I just said the same thing about my Janome Unboxing, it's so helpful to take scraps and the thread if you can to the dealer to play around. hahaha, I hear you, putting furniture together is not my ministry either - LOL! We are related (I keep all my journals too). Enjoyed the video!
I am in the process of organizing my sewing space which is a 10x20 building. I need some structure in my life! Thank you for this video. I wish I had an IKEA close to me!
I’m happy I found your channel! How long where you sewing before you started your business and where do you find big bulks of fabric. The craft stores are so expensive.
A home serger would be my personal choice as it’s more affordable. But you should always research the right machine for your needs and how much you plan to sew.
Hi, this is the first time I see this TH-cam video. Tell me about you. Who are you? Where did you go to school? Where did you go to become an expert sewer. Like the set up of your room.
Hey! I fold and store them in large envelopes and label it just like I showed here: th-cam.com/video/3CjvQLLDUaM/w-d-xo.html I still follow this system!
The legs are adjustable so mine is high, about 37 inches. My work desk is no longer available, but the countertop I use for my cutting table should still be available online.
Welcome to my home sewing studio! Links to items in the video are in the info box! Do you have a space carved out for your creativity at home?
Style Sew Me Hi sweetie. What table are you using that your other babies are sitting on?
Just a cheapo 6ft folding table from Sams.
My 4 and 6 year old have taken an interest in sewing. I’m excited to share your videos with them! Thanks for posting!
Thank you for the tip on bringing scraps of fabric when machine shopping

I don't buy fabrics in bulk since I only sew for myself. I do tend to buy my fabrics on sale, though.
Would you suggest buying a home serger or an industrial one for home business? Thank u
A home serger would be my personal choice as it’s more affordable. But you should always research the right machine for your needs and how much you plan to sew.
Cute sewing studio
Thank you!

Like the set up of your room.
Thank you! You can learn more about me on my website: www.stylesewme.com/about-me
Sorry, but didn’t tell where did you go to school to design patterns. That’s ok, no need to reply.
Thanks for sharing
I enjoyed your tour. Where do you store you pdf patterns after you cut them?

Yesss! 😍
What is the height of your cutting table? (I see that it is no longer available)
The legs are adjustable so mine is high, about 37 inches. My work desk is no longer available, but the countertop I use for my cutting table should still be available online.
@@Stylesewme Awesome! Thanks. It's definitely time for me to upgrade my table, it's too low.
Where do you print PDF patterns? Like staples?
An independent local printer shop. They can print larger sizes for PDFs.
How did you start your blog?
I made up a name, signed up on Wordpress, and started writing and sharing what I like to talk about...sewing.
@@Stylesewme Thanks, been thinking of starting one myself.
