Very interesting info ! Now, how do you go about finding a 2-bedroom apt or small home for rent ? Things to watch for in an eventual lease ? Internet and electricity monthly bills ? Can you rent just for 4 to 6 months on an exploration basis ?
Most landlords prefer to rent for 6 month minimum. If you want a short term lease, airbnb is best. In the highlands, electricity is rarely over $25. Gas is about $5 a month. Water is $100 a YEAR. Internet is $45.

Most people sell most of what they have (unless it has extreme sentimental value) and buy their furniture in Panama where it can be significantly less expensive. My mom & dad didn't only buy their furniture, they had it hand made by furniture makers who are also expert carpenters. The small company was called "Cowes", I believe. That one thing they miss might be the deciding factor for me or someone else watching.
I can tell you that most people don't miss much from their home country. I miss good mexican food. The mexican food restaurants in Panama are not so good. But all the ingredients are readily available to make your own. You learn to adapt when you move to Panama.
You don't say this is a typical unit for that price. Isn't it rather exceptional? By encouraging people to move there you're ensuring the cost of living will go up up up over time..... Love your decor though, just lovely!
Hello am older 65-year-old woman. How did you find your apartment? I live in Mississippi USA and was diagnosed with gastritis and doctor say I must have fresh organic vegetables. Are fruits and vegetables there locally grown and no GMO or pesticide? Gave you thumps up. Good video. thank you.

Do you help with the residency side if I decide to relocate there on a long term basis? I am looking for a placee just like this😍 I think Boqueto is the ideal to me. Are there currently any rentals there in this budget price? How is things now there with virus?
I'm Panamanian and after hearing her story about the burglary I feel completely appalled and saddened to hear that my people are behaving like this and you can tell she's so polite she won't even use the word stolen. Shame on them. I live in the USA now for close to 20yrs and we don't have security bars on our doors or windows. I'm very sorry for her and her neighbor and I rather cut off my hand before I grab something that is not mine.
She never said the thieves were Panamanians. They could have been colombian, canadian, russian. A thief is a thief, not a representative of any country :)
the ONLY way to find rentals in that price range is being in town talking to people. I just helped a lady get a furnished 1 bedroom with all utilities included for $400 in a great location.
what a beautiful place!! I haven't seen any info on the changes for the visa requirements. Will you be doing a video on that? I know the requirements for the retirees has not changed. But there was some talk about the 'friendly nations' visa being changed. If there are big changes, it will be more difficult? more expensive? I have over 4 years before SS can start so I want to see if that is an option for an early retirement.

Great place and very good price!
It really is!
Hello am older 65-year-old woman. How did you find your apartment? I live in Mississippi USA and was diagnosed with gastritis and doctor say I must have fresh organic vegetables. Are fruits and vegetables there locally grown and no GMO or pesticide? Gave you thumps up. Good video. thank you.
She found her apartment by word-of-mouth. A friend from her church told her about it. Some veggies are organic, non-GMO but most are not.
@@PanamaRelocationTours could you help me?
Hi Loralei! Will you decorate for others by arrangement, after they've relocated to Boquette Panama? You have stunning taste, in my opinion. Thanks! Gail
Yes, she can certainly help
I am English currently in London, England. I am looking to Panama as an option to relocate. I speak fluent Spanish and have a house and spanish residency.
I'm Panamanian too. Like anywhere in the world, you have good and bad people. It is not a good thing to generalize. ✌
You must have never been to Chicago where they do have bars on Windows and doors!
@@user-vz3fh6oj7d we ALL need to learn from Japan. It is rare to see them stealing.
@@marydavis7978.....Chicago is also full of blacks so....
Fabulous stitch work.. a lot of work too..
get a 250 gallon tank .. too heavy to steal..
Ide put a motion camera just for curiousity
Thanks for the tip
You are absolutely gorgeous. I think you have a great place and much better then silly Arizona. Be healthy and blessed.
How would you recommend finding a rental unit in the range of $300 to $400/ month? Are there furnished apartments available?
the ONLY way to find rentals in that price range is being in town talking to people. I just helped a lady get a furnished 1 bedroom with all utilities included for $400 in a great location.

Can you help me find one at the same price ? I am now in David !
Are the price of rent in 2022/2023 still the same or it got pricier in general?
Prices are generally the same. More in some areas and less in other areas.
Any more units like that available?
Yes, there is a similar unit available in the same building for $350. And I know of one bedroom for $250 and a huge two bedroom 2 bath $400
I’ve got to get over there and look around. 64 now and ready to retire. Single and no kids, might as well give it a go!
@@PanamaRelocationTours I didn't hear mention, are these furnished or not? Her place is beautiful so I assume it's all her own furniture.
what a beautiful place!!
I will discuss the visa updates on the conference call on Saturday at 5pm CST. call 1-712-770-4160 access code 120440#
Will there be another conference call regarding any changes to the friendly nations visa? I look to come early next year in January or February
no changes for a year per the October 31 call
Nice! $350 is affordable for us poor folk. I would have thought that Boquete is much more expensive.
in Boquete, rentals range from $200 to $2500+ a month. There's something for everyone!
Wow, in Georgia I have a 20lb propane tank and it cost 20.00 to re-fill.
It's $5.37 for a refill in Panama!
Hi am moving there in 2023. Any recommendations on a house like yours. Am on a budget too.
It depends on where you are moving to. There are affordable rentals in David and Dolega.
Hi
Wonder having pets is okay in appartments?
She has a dog in her apartment. Most apartments allow up to 2 pets.
Does Lorelei live in "downtown" Boquete? Are other apartments available for a similar price in 2020?
She lives about 10 minutes to downtown Boquete. Yes other similar apartments are available.
