i like that they didn't make clear if the museum director knew if everything came alive at night. him asking larry to explain the situation with jedediah and octavius after the first night could either mean 'why did you move/replace these miniatures?' but it could also mean 'how did octavius manage to get out of his exhibit?' since everything is usually on lockdown. and at the end he might not ask larry about cavemen being on the roof, dinosaur footprints in the snow etc. because he knows the museum comes alive at night, only asking for an explanation on how everyone and everything managed to get out of the museum.
The actress that plays the job Lady he says he feels a connection to Is Ben stiller actual mom, He's Dad is also an actor he played the dad ,in the king and queens, Who is also played in movies with him
That guy that you recognize is Dick Van Dyke. He was in Mary Poppins in the early 60's and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He was quite famous back in the day
"I actually can't stand monkeys and apes" Oh no 😂 I saw this in theaters when it came out and seeing it on the big screen filled me with so much wonder. I was already a history nerd myself, I loved going to the local museum and would love to go to the actual Natural History Museum one day in New York!
Great film and yes, it is a family fun movie. The older lady (Debbie) was Ben Stiller's real-life mom, Anna Meara, who along with Ben's dad Jerry Stiller was an actress and comedian. His father played on the tv series, The King of Queens. Part 2&3 are just as good as the first Night at the Museum.
Nice. Saw this in the theater. My uncle was there when they filmed the scenes IN the Smithsonian(most of the movie was shot on a set). My uncle worked at the Smithsonian for near 40 years. He was the head of exhibits. So those exhibits you see that usually last 3 to 6 months, maybe a year, he came up with a bunch of those, some of which became permanent. The last one he did before he retired a few years ago was the Fashion of Star Wars(untitled name), which is awesome, because one of the first Smithsonian art books he is in, he is collecting Star Wars sets and props.
19:12 You are the only one out of MANY reactors I’ve seen watching this movie actually figure out that they’re in Larry’s apartment. Also I love your energy, take my subscribtion 👍🏼
If I were an actor and some kind of impression were made of my likeness, and they let me keep it, would I? Damned straight! The thing is, they usually don't. A lot of times, they make impressions of actors' faces, whether it's for building prosthetics, a death mask for a corpse scene, or anything else where the "actor" has to be motionless for a long time. And they hold onto those, because they're useful for other productions, even if the actor isn't overly recognizable because it's a longer shot, out of focus or soft focus, or under a sheet.
I’m so excited your watching the Night of the Museum Love Robin Williams ❤️ as Teddy in these movies BULLLY 😂😂😂 the 3rd Night at the museum is bittersweet as it is the last movie Robin Williams was in that was in theatres after he died RIP Robin and that scene between him and Ben and HE SAYS SMILE MY BOY ITS SUNRISE AND Ben says “ I don’t know what I’m gonna do tomorrow and Robin says How exciting and it’s zoomed in on him with the theme playing in the background. RIP ROBIN YOU MADE OUR CHILDHOODS.❤
DURING THE END CREDITS OF NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 THERE IS A TRIBUTE TO ROBIN WILLIAMS AND MICKEY ROONEY WOULD BE GREAT FOR YOU TO INCLUDE YOUR REACTION WHEN THE TRIBUTE SHOWS UP IN THE CREDITS.
the other movie of his o see , The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. this movie is a remake of an other older film of the same name. You should see both Dick Van Dyke from Marry Poppins also, still alive mickey Rooney passed in 2014 Bill Cobbs still alive
I would love o see the sequels. Also here is an animated series and if you want to yell at monkeys more Bedtime for Bonzo Monkey Trouble Dunston Checks In The Monkey King Ace Ventura 2 When Naure Calls Funky Monkey Space Chimps MVP: Most Valuable Primate Jumanji Plane of the Apes King Kong Curious George Mighty Joe Young Gorillas of the Mist Congo outbreak the super Mario Brothers Movie (live action) We're Back a Dinosaur story toy story 3 monkeybone jungle book Madagascar wizard of Oz Super Mario Brothers (animaed) Raiders of he Lost Ark pippi longstocking speed racer Tarzan Affrica Screams buddy babies day out rampage konga Loney tunes back in action Gremlins 2 the monkey's paw
30:30 oddly enough this is the most realistic part of the movie, 2006 some parts of NYC are a ghost town at 3am and for being in the park like that there are parts of the park that are a ghost town at any part of the day.
I love that you commented on what time school starts. I’ve seen ABC family shows, they do so much before school starts. When I was in school? I had enough time before school to get ready for school. That’s it. They’re showing kids meet up for actual breakfast in a restaurant before school. Do their classes start at noon? I don’t get it.
nice reaction btw 1 thing u said fit the current movie situation PERFECTLY a low budget movie from 20 years ago look MUCH BETTER then today 'blockbasters' and that because today movie are formulaic ,lack SOUL . lack effort or imagination and are done by ppl chosen not due to ability but due to fitting a criteria. and btw Hun like empire actually conquered Russia -> the Mongols :)
I'm not generally a fan of Ben Stiller. His comedy is a bit too dry for my taste. However, I like his character here, probably because I identify personally.
The whole point of a reaction video is the reaction and thoughts, without that you might as well buy or rent the film and watch it alone. In anycase I hope you have a nice day.
DUM DUM
I absolutely love how the Roman Empire has British accents hahahaha
The poshest of them to boot 😂

The first guard he met was Dick Van Dyke
4:15 - That's his mother, Anne Meara.
*The Secret Life of Walter Mitty* is my favorite Ben Stiller movie.
(I can't snap my fingers, either.)
That is one of my favourite Danny Kaye movies - the original Secret Life of Walter MItty [1947] ... ta pocketa pocketa ....
For more Ben Stiller, check out DODGEBALL and MYSTERY MEN
Oh I forgot Dodgeball, that’s a great one! I’ll add Mystery Men
I loved Dexter! He was so cute.
Very fun and lots of cameos in it. still gets a laugh at me when Robin Williams yells at Ben Stiller to stop slapping that monkey.
🤣
The actress that plays the job Lady he says he feels a connection to Is Ben stiller actual mom, He's Dad is also an actor he played the dad ,in the king and queens, Who is also played in movies with him
I know his dad by sight, yeah, but not his mom so I missed it the first time 😂
That guy that you recognize is Dick Van Dyke. He was in Mary Poppins in the early 60's and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He was quite famous back in the day
"Tropic Thunder" would be another good Ben Stiller movie.
That one I have seen, it’s hilarious 😂
That's Dick Van Dyke from Marry Poppins.
"I actually can't stand monkeys and apes" Oh no 😂

It’s true, I’d rather deal with spiders or snakes 🤣
The woman at the employment office who recommends him to the Museum is Ben Stiller's real life mother

That’s so cool!
Night at the Museum is a classic! So many laughs, and Robin Williams is amazing as always. 😂
19:12 You are the only one out of MANY reactors I’ve seen watching this movie actually figure out that they’re in Larry’s apartment. Also I love your energy, take my subscribtion 👍🏼
Thank you! I shall take it with gratitude 💜

Great react! I hope U'll see the others two sequels
The sequels are both just as good. I would recommend watching them as well
I’m so excited your watching the Night of the Museum Love Robin Williams ❤️ as Teddy in these movies BULLLY 😂😂😂 the 3rd Night at the museum is bittersweet as it is the last movie Robin Williams was in that was in theatres after he died RIP Robin and that scene between him and Ben and HE SAYS SMILE MY BOY ITS SUNRISE AND Ben says “ I don’t know what I’m gonna do tomorrow and Robin says How exciting and it’s zoomed in on him with the theme playing in the background. You should now watch Night At The Museum sequels
I plan to watch the next for sure, if this video does well I’ll put it on the channel 💜
DURING THE END CREDITS OF NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 THERE IS A TRIBUTE TO ROBIN WILLIAMS AND MICKEY ROONEY WOULD BE GREAT FOR YOU TO INCLUDE YOUR REACTION WHEN THE TRIBUTE SHOWS UP IN THE CREDITS.
If only doctoral theses on museum display practices were this fun and engaging...
The woman in pink who tries to find a job for him is Ben Stiller's actual mom.
I'm a little surprised you know who Steve Coogan is, also, your reaction and snappy one-liners make an enjoyable film even better.
I know some very random things, and do not know some very common things 😂 and thank you, always happy to hear people enjoy what I do 💜
Part two is even better
You should watch MYSTERY MEN
Yeah, Octavius is Steve Coogan... and Ahkmenrah is Rami Malek, this was his first movie actually.
Fun movie and gets kids into history. One of the few Dick Van Dyke doesn’t play a good guy too.
And yet he’s still darn charming 😂
Now that was a fun reaction and commentary, thanks a bunch!!!
Hopefully this does well because the others in the series are fun to watch!
I’ll probably see them regardless but if the people want me to share I will do it!
the other movie of his o see , The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. this movie is a remake of an other older film of the same name. You should see both
Dick Van Dyke from Marry Poppins also, still alive

This is more fun than it ought to be. Fun film.
Right? I think when it first came out I thought it looked like a lame kiddie thing but I quite enjoyed it
30:30 oddly enough this is the most realistic part of the movie, 2006 some parts of NYC are a ghost town at 3am and for being in the park like that there are parts of the park that are a ghost town at any part of the day.
I’m actually shocked by this
I love that you commented on what time school starts. I’ve seen ABC family shows, they do so much before school starts. When I was in school? I had enough time before school to get ready for school. That’s it. They’re showing kids meet up for actual breakfast in a restaurant before school. Do their classes start at noon? I don’t get it.
THANK YOU! It drives me nuts, my school started when it was still dark most of the year 😂
@@RhetoricalThrill same here, hello from Montana. Go to school in the dark, get home from school? Dark. Have an awesome day!
Fun Fact I sometimes can double snap my fingers doing two fingers from the same hand together. Also my big toe if barefoot.
That is impressive!
Hope you are having an great and awesome weekend ❤
you should watch There Something About Mary, its hilarious
nice reaction
btw 1 thing u said fit the current movie situation PERFECTLY
a low budget movie from 20 years ago look MUCH BETTER then today 'blockbasters' and that because today movie are formulaic ,lack SOUL . lack effort or imagination and are done by ppl chosen not due to ability but due to fitting a criteria.

Soul! That’s the word I was looking for, thank you 😊
@@RhetoricalThrill my pleasure :), glad i could helped :)
12:41 🤣🤣🤣
13:20 🤣🤣🤣
Love him so much, look what he could do with just a yell 😊
Ant-mans weirdest role, hahahaha
Barely used! Downright criminal
Family movies today are crammed with sexual innuendo to amuse the adults. It’s really pretty sad if an adult can enjoy a plain fun movie like this.
Funny movie 😂😂😂😂😂😂
South.. North wins. Sorry. But you guys get Alman Brothers and NASCAR..
I'm not generally a fan of Ben Stiller. His comedy is a bit too dry for my taste. However, I like his character here, probably because I identify personally.
I think I prefer him in “over-the-top” mode 😂 but the Everyman shtick works in this one
He is Dick Van Dyke
Mickey Rooney is dead
3 minutes in and I'm done, the non-stop blabbering is too annoying.

@paganheart70

- Would've been a pretty lackluster reaction if she didn't talk...

The whole point of a reaction video is the reaction and thoughts, without that you might as well buy or rent the film and watch it alone. In anycase I hope you have a nice day.
Don’t let the door hit ya 🖕🏻
Three minutes, huh? Maybe think about baseball or schedule that akward talk with your doctor. Can't blame your partner for complaining...
then watch the actual movie, not a reaction :P
