Well half of these is because the tacklers aren't tackling them correctly so you can just keep running no problem, they're throng to grab their shoulders, you're supposed to get them on the hips a bit above / below. I play American Football for my school and you'd get ass fucked if you tried doing this with them. It's no different in any sport. jfrella1 You aren't entirely correct. If you put your head below their waist and went for a low tackle when they're running directly at you, without a helmet, you're asking for a concussion. A lot of tackles in the NFL are from an angle, in the NRL it is almost always players meeting head on.
Explains why nearly all them have speech impediments, but if you hit them below the waist its a lot more effective. And I've been trained to tackle with your shoulder so theres no head collision.
jfrella1 in rugby league we train from a very young age to tackle the legs but the professionals you see here tackle legs and smack any part of the body they can to force errors without any padding or helmets ,you need to shut up and respect the intensity of rugby league these guys are part of a 17 man squad with 13 on the field and 4 on the bench for interchange they don't have a defensive team and an offensive team, rugby league players are all of it packed into the 1 squad that play hard for 80 mins with 1 half time break I bet you would crap yourself after one game with these guys no offense but ive had days as a youngster not being able to move the next day
