Flaw number 1 - (Detects vehicles) bypass this issue by simply using the zoning option to just record the area you want, ie, your garden.. I had the same issue, and just highlighted my property. I do know about Zones but the corner where I place my camera needs to capture both the left side which covers my fence gate and the right side where my driveway is, which unfortunately requires me to record part of the street as well. I also want it not to skip any people that may wonder around my property, even if near the road. I just wish they had a way to record vehicles but just not get notified about them. I do wish to have the recordings. Flaw number 2, I did reduce the sensitivity to help out but then you may miss some events. Flaw number 3, I do not wish to record 24 hours. I do want it to record the entire event of someone walking around my property even if it lasts 1 minute 20 seconds let's say, or even for a minute but that doesn't happen. It'll just end the video even if the person is still there and then resume after like 5 seconds of a pause, that doesn't make any sense to me.

I just installed one of these today and am surprised at how bad the bracket is. First of all it is a weak bracket for such a heavy device that is expected to weather all seasons. The main thing that I am concerned with though is how easy it is to detach the camera from the bracket. Any chancer who can get to the camera can steal the device and it is no harder than unplugging a phone from a charging cable. I am going to make a metal collar to fit around the bracket release buttons with the hope that it might put somebody off stealling it even though they could still just snap it off. My camera is about 10 feet high so it's just out of reach but I do thing Eufy should have made this with a strong metal.bracket. Apart from this and the issues mentioned in this video I think the.device is pretty good.
@@udithawickrematilake9870 The issue stated on the video is turning off notification only for vehicles while still recording the events. Turning off notifications completely will disable people notifications which I do not want.

A flaw with a unit I have. I'll meet it randomly tilted almost full down then when I try to select default position or manually tilt it up, it says tilt limit reached. It will pan left and right but won't tilt up just stays stuck down. I was about to fling it in the trash but I found a work around aka a little trick by pressing the down arrow in the app to tilt full down until it says limit reached then I hit the up arrow and it magically tilts up and operates as normal once you reach the tilt up limit. I also removed all preset positions except the default one since the tilt down issue seems to happen after the cam auto moves from a preset position back to the default position.
Another weird issue with this camera a second unit I have the battery stays between 85%-98% all year round but I noticed whenever my wifi goes out for a fews days due to power outages or Internet provider issues, the darn cam battery drains rapidly. Yes it makes zero sense because it's a wire free solar powered camera but it happens. It's like because camera can't talk to the internet it gets sad and die. When I look at the solar dashboard it shows a big drop in power the days the wifi was out and soon as the wifi comes back up the camera starts charging again. Yes it makes no sense lol.

I am looking for a camera system but don't want to pay a subscription. I'm not high on solar powered systems because one, they record in segments to save on battery life. Two, if batteries wear out then it will likely not be worth paying for new batteries assuming they can be changed out. Three, have to place in area where there is sunlight. Four, may be a problem living in an area where winter doesn't get optimal sunlight and snow can cover up the solar panels. I have Eufy doorbell camera. And will pick up the movements of my plants in a planter on the porch. So sounds like these cameras have similar issues.
