This game looks absolutely retrospectively pawsome 🐾 😺👍🕹️. It's like PAC-MAN, but with a worm 🐛. The graphics look absolutely amazing, and the sound effects 🎵🎶 are brilliant 😺👍🕹️.
Was always fond of this one (along with the original KC Munchkin). Someone should really port them to a system with enough memory to provide multiple lives...I've always wondered what a select handful of Odyssey2/Videopac games would be like with multiple lives. In my estimation, they'd easily rival any on the 2600. That one-life limitation really hurt the system's 'fun-factor'. Unique two player variations in games like Monkeyshines, Invaders Plus and BlockOut! certainly helped but providing multiple lives was quite standard by the time the Odyssey2 hit shelves. It demonstrates just how expensive memory used to be, that Phillips tried to avoid adding more memory to their carts until shortly before the demise of the system, and even then 2-4K remained the absolute maximum. Another entertaining video for my afternoon tea my friend!!!
Yeah that's a fair point regarding the lives. As somebody that doesn't worry too much about score chasing it and with so many games to play I don't mind the whole single life thing when I can jump straight back into the game but can see how it must've been an issue for many. It is surprising that Videopac games like this were never(or at least rarely) ported to other systems as they're so fun and unique. I do find them really refreshing to play having never experienced the console until recently Cheers for the compliment👍
I agree Lee, absolutely cracking game this is, probably the best I've tried so far on the Videopac, possibly closely followed by Dambuster. Looking forward to seeing what new bit you've picked up and what the Videopac bundle was👍
It sure is a cracking little game, so playable! The bundle probably won't arrive in time for my next pickups but let's see😉 Cheers James, hope you can somehow make it to Revival last minute👍
Nearly picked one of these up last week but left it as I don't have any nostalgia for this particular console. I regret leaving it now after watching this video! Was boxed with 5 or 6 games for £50 as well. Great video👍
That was a good deal boxed with 5 games, although not out the way, the Videopac is usually super cheap. Bought my system for a tenner plus a tenner postage. I have no nostalgia for it either but the games are so refreshingly different and fun.
Cheers Alex, haha the brutality of nature. Mind you if you think the caterpillar has it bad wait until you see The Mousing Cat that I recently picked up 😬
You've more memories of Videopac than anyone I know in the UK. Must have been about as popular over here as the TI99😄 Cool that your Uncle owned one bitd mate. This game is of the better ones for sure, nice original spin on Pacman.
Quite a cool little follow up to KC Munchkin, I didn't actually know there was a sequel so that's a knowledge gap filled. difficulty looks like it ramps up at a decent level which never hurts when it comes to gameplay. If I was forced to pick my favourite maze games though I'd probably go with Pepper II (Arcade and Colecovision), Wizard of Wor (Arcade, C64 and Bally Astrocade)......I'd probably toss Jr Pacman in there too for it's difficulty level. On the TI front, you'll be pleased to know that I've still received sod all from America.😡
Yeah it's a great little game this one, I read rumour that Philips were poking fun at Atari after they took legal action against KC Munchkin and with Centepede being a big game at the time they came up with this, pretty funny if true😁 That's a shame yoy didn't receive your TI games in the end, I now have and will mention how that came about in my next pickups vid.

Haha Pacman with a Worm, love it😆😆😆
Looks great but a grim concept stalking that poor caterpillar an eating them alive from behind.🐛😅 Well played buddy nice video.🌠🕹🍀
Yeah pretty brutal when you think of it like that😬 maybe Munckin himself is the real Drat in this game 😉
Cheers Patrick👍
This looks pretty neat
It's a great fun little game, perfect for the odd quick sesh, as are most videopac games really😉

looks like a pretty cool twist on pacman.
Yeah it has enough ideas of its own to make a really fun game this one, great to play.
Thanks for watching🙂👍
My memories of the video pak are limited I remember my uncle having one back in the early 80s I’ve never seen this game before, it looks pretty decent
