Thank you for your video. Great job! Very informative. I'm taking my wife to this hotel for her birthday on 9/11. 😁. I hope they have fireworks that day, but I think they stop on labor day 😢. Much appreciated. Keep hustling and do your thing! And stay encouraged! Be blessed!
@@scottbullard559 uuuu...I wish I did. I only stayed one night so I didn’t have time too. But I’ve done Divy rentals around the Chicago area and it’s definitely worth it. I will say those bikes are kind of heavy so it’s a good workout. I’ve done the lakeshore drive bike path and it’s so beautiful during sundown. Also, you aren’t far from the Bean and it’s a beautiful walk from the hotel to navy pier.
Nice video! Going to the Chi for the first time w/ my wife and 5 month old son next month, the week before Christmas. Not sure what to expect as far as how cold it will get and how much winter wear we should bring. We're flying Spirit w/ one free carry on each so we're gonna have to try and figure out how to get creative w/ layering at the airport and unlayering once we arrive. Ghetto I know lol Question, is the Sable worth going to stay at for us if we want to do all the touristy stuff for 4 days? I assume most of our activities will be inside bc of the cold and the baby but my concern is just being close to everything. I don’t think a car rental will be worth it. Figured we could just Uber everywhere and Downtown seems like that’s where everything is happening. Your recommendations would be sooo appreciated😊
Hi, Terry. I definitely recommend to stay at The Sable hotel for the holidays. There is so much near by. You have the Navy Pier. Maggie Daily Park. The Bean. The CristkndlMarket . For the market you will definitely have to take an Uber (15 minutes away). You also have the museums. You don’t need a rental. Just take Ubers. For the weather. It’s going to be REALLY cold so make sure to layer up. Hats. Gloves. Sweaters. Double socks etc. I hope you enjoy your stay in Chicago ☺️. Let me know if you have any further questions. Happy Holidays ☺️.
@@quietstorm9884 Hi There! I just saw your comment. TH-cam did not notify me about this one. Dang! Way to call me out on the Yacht 😂. So true 😂. However, technically I did have a lake view . Thank you for the nice comment. OMG! Your wife is lucky! Happy early anniversary. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. You should also take her to the ferris wheel. I think she would really enjoy this 😊 ☺️
Hi! Parking per day is $29 but this was the price back in June. Not sure if it’s changed with inflation. The parking garage is on the left side of Navy Pier and you park your car in the East Parking Garage. I hope you enjoyed the video and don’t forget to hit that like button 😃☺️.
Can you drive out the parking lot to go to the city? Or do you have to stay at navy pier and they won't let you back in . ? At a certain time .? If that makes sense
Thats a good question. I think they will let you drive out and come back in. Just make sure to tell the receptionist you plan to step out and come back in. She asked me if I was planning to drive out of the garage and I said no. She then said ok I don’t need to give you 'that'. I have no clue what 'that' is but I'm sure its a pass for you to drive out and come back.
@@victoriacardenas7738 thank you . I have a stupid question but any smioking allow in the deck. At night when they close the park for the public. I won't the park isn't close to the visiting people at the hotel? .
@@albert1326 not a stupid question at all. I know there is no smoking allowed in the rooms but not sure about the deck. When I walked around during business hours of navy pier I didn’t see anyone smoking but that doesn’t mean it’s not allowed after hours? I suggest to call The Sable Hotel and ask them. Sorry for not having the answer for you on this one.
Hi Rosie. You have to go to the receptionist in the main entrance and pick up your Uber eats. I didn't like this, however, it makes you feel safe knowing unless you are a guest the elevator wont take you to the rooms. In order for the elevator to go up to the room floors you have to have a room key. Even though it sucks going to the receptionist area to pick up your food, safety is key for me so I would say this is a good thing. Let me know if you have any further questions 😊.
The walk from the parking garage to the main lobby isn’t bad. Parking fee is $29 a day. I definitely recommend this hotel for a couples weekend getaway. At night navy pier is so beautiful. Millennium park is close by. A bike ride is best to get there. If you walk it will take you about 25 minutes. Bike ride is faster. I hope my video was helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions ☺️.
Is it true they don’t have a microwave in the room? I’m planning to go there during the July 4th weekend and spend the weekend with kids - so we need a microwave.
Nope. No microwave. There’s also no soda machine in any of the floors. Pack some snacks and drinks with you. There is a fridge near the receptionist with some chips but over priced of course.
I know for Valentine’s Day they will be doing fireworks. I suggest to check the website to see what their schedule is for the month. I don’t see any fireworks for the month of March but it could change. I hope this helps.
It really is! I definitely recommend to check it out. The view was AMAZING! I was a little disappointed there is no room service available but they have a restaurant in the main lobby and there are other restaurants towards the front area for the pier.
