You might want to try loctite tread tape on the pedals. Wrap the pedal threads and screw them back in. Will make a stronger, more secure bond. Good luck and keep spinning!
Thanks! I put the bike together by myself! laid it on the side to all pull it out and then laid it on my couch to put the bottom parts on. It was definitely heavy and two people would have been nice!! 😄
I have the Joroto x2 as well and I think we actually got our bikes around the same time. I had the EXACT same issue with it and then some. Their customer service is great and I ended up keeping it but it was very frustrating having issues with the bike so soon after getting it. It was such a pain to try to do all the trouble shooting and replacements of parts myself but I’m just so happy to be spinning every day :)
Can you list the equipment you bought? I think you mention all the stuff over the course of the video but it'd help to have a list. I'm super interested in doing this.
I like how you thought the same thing I thought about the gym lol I maybe thought it would be a little safer to go to the gym maybe towards the end of 2020 but then 2021 comes and we’re still at home. Ordered my bike mid January and just got it a few days ago

If your pedals are getting loose use the blue loctite. It should work fine and you won't have to heat it up to get it loose if you ever need to. I just got the Joroto that you have so zero time on it but if I have the same problem I'll tell you what I did to fix it. Only watched half your vid. Maybe I'll watch it while on the bike soon. Want to build a small laptop holder for the bike so I can use that for watching vids and such while exercising. Thank you very much for making the video for all to watch. Thats a good idea. At the moment the new pedals are holding up, it will occasionally make clicking noises but nothing compared to the old ones. Wow, how crafty! Hope your bike has no issues.
@@JR-tg9gf Oh sorry! I didnt change the handbars, Im using the same bar. The handbar holds 2 water bottles and you can rest your iPad on it. At minute mark 14:05 you can see my water bottle in one of the slots!

I switched my pedals out with SPD pedals, huge improvement and the ride is even smoother now! Highly recommend

I got my bike this week and pedals have a different mechanism.
