    I’m not in the market for a bike but this was a very great review I ended up watching the whole thing. 🤣
    I really appreciate the part where you shared about whether or not it was “family friendly”. I’m in the same boat as you when it comes to what type of materials come into my home so I really appreciated you sharing that part.

    Great video, great review. I’m glad you mentioned the language and topics not being family friendly. I believe we need to address this more often so that sponsors and people in general will remember what polite society means. We are so far removed from that at this moment.
    I’d never pay $2000 for a spin bike but I could see spending $400-$500

    Great review Dave. I agree about the F-Bombs being dropped. I have no desire to exercise with an instructor that has to use that language.

    Watch out Christine, Dave smashed this review. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

    Thanks. The bike has been in my Amazon checkout since Christine did her review. This seals the deal to buy it.

    great review, I love the Joroto. I can afford the higher priced bikes, but why bother when the Joroto fits my needs. I got the bike, wahoo, and mat based on your wife's review and your review just confirmed what I already knew, that I made the right choice. Love you channel

    Your family is amazing how you all bike and workout so much. Wow. That's just so awesome.

    Wow thank you. I would’ve never thought of the language. Family friendly is important to me, since my lil one is always home w/ me.

    I bought the joroto recently and am waiting for my surgeon to clear me to ride. Do I need special shoes to fit the clips? How about if I upgrade the foot clips? Thanks so much for the help. I love your and Christine's channels and have been watching for over a year. 😊

      You don't need special shoes for the pedals that come with the bike. You can wear any kind of shoe. But if you upgrade your pedals, you'll want to get cycling shoes that will allow you to attach the cleat for that pedal. Usually new pedals will include 1 set of cleats.

    So if I had to put it in a sentence... low income...family of 5...I want a peloton I the worst way...but there is no way to afford it...plus the monthly fee... I'm not a fitness guru... just trying to get in shape some... many medical issues to include lupus and other pain issues... the joruto would be a great option added to the 10/month peloton app...yes?

    I got those pedals but they wont fit. Did you have any trouble with them fitting on the bike?

    • @FrugalFitDad
      @FrugalFitDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All petals use the same threads. Make sure you are threading the left side pedal with a reverse thread. And the right side pedal with a normal thread. In other words, right side pedal is clockwise and left pedal is counter clockwise.

    How is the joroto holding up?

    • @FrugalFitDad
      @FrugalFitDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No real problems. The belt was making a noise, so I scraped some of the gunk out of the belt, and it's working smooth and quiet again.

    Dave, I respect the LDS/family stuff of it all (I really do) but Soul Cycle's culture is Manhattan... and we're a pretty awesome crowd (ask your wife about Friends). I'm bringing up 3 teens here who do throw too many f bombs around (privately) but they respect social norms and God (we're Catholic). Just sayin'. Good luck with your channel! Subscribed.

      I agree. You guys are awesome. My argument is that the technology exists to allow families the freedom to choose, but SoulCycle chooses to push their decorum and culture on my family. When I visit Catholic mass, or attend a friend’s Bar mitzvah, I understand that, out of respect, I am held to the norms of that event or location. I feel the same way about inviting people and things into my home.
