Here are the upgraded pedals we purchased. amzn.to/3sGdAej
They come with cleats for both sides, and any bike shoe will work. Your best bet is to go to a cycling shop/store and find some on clearance. They will most likely have a better price than anything I've found online. Facebook marketplace is another good option!

    Found this useful data:
The Joroto Resistance Conversion to Peloton
    - 1.5 full turns = 10 in resistance
    - 3 full turns = 20 in resistance
    - 4.5 full turns = 30 in resistance
    - 6 full turns = 40 in resistance and so on....

Just follow Frugal‘s Advice, buy the Joroto x2, I believe i have done enough research. Just focus on what you need and get the best deal. what I need is : 1. sturdy 2. quiet (magnetic) 3. compatible with Peloton App 4. Save Money(under 500). so i researched all the top selling bikes under $500 inluding Yosuda, Sunny 1002, Joroto X2, they all have thouds of good reviews, and above 4.4. Yosuda and Sunny is slightly cheaper but they are not magnetic, all the other magnetic bike is more than 500, so i bought X2. it has been 5 month, very strudy and quiet!

@@kelmike060404 I have the X1S because I purchased it a little over a year ago and was new to spinning. If I was buying it now, I'd get the model Christine mentioned for the magnetic belt drive. Mine has a belt drive, so it's quiet, but it has felt pads and is not as good. I didn't want to put too much into a bike before I knew if I liked it. I have now done more than 100 rides in the past year, and the bike has held up very well. I've only had to lubricate it as far as maintenance. I will trade this model in eventually for a magnetic belt drive model, and I would be confident in purchasing a Joroto again. (I use a price tracker and just looked and the X2 - Christine's model - spiked by $40 on Jan. 4. You might be better off waiting to see if it drops down again.)

I got an ad for Peleton watching this video 😂😂😂 I’m also a spinning instructor and refuse to pay the thousands of money for a Peleton. Just a note to newbies, when adjusting your seat height and position, make sure you have the shoes that you will be using to ride with when checking the leg position and have your feet in the clips/cages and if you have another person available, have them look at your leg position because sometimes it’s hard to see it yourself when you’re on the bike. The knee on the front leg should be directly over the ball of your foot.

I've been researching whether or not I want a bike for my "gym" since I run outdoors 90% of the time. One of my training partners spent a bunch of $ on a bike and raved about it but I wasn't convinced. You (a) made me realize that he greatly overpaid and (b) reminded me that it's not all about the equipment, the motivation to use it matters too. Definitely something I'm willing to add to my treadmill and climber if I'm not able to get outside. This was one of the most authentic and thorough product reviews that I've seen in a while. I appreciate the honesty and family involvement, as well as your passion for cycling.

Interesting. I found a bike VERY similar to this thrown out behind where I work. I got it into the backroom at work and discovered it was assembled backwards so everything was awkward; your legs hit the handle bars if you stood up, if you slid seat back further you tilted back further, the cages didn't fit right for your feet, it was just a hot mess. Disassembled and reassembled it and we use it when it's quiet to just pedal. But you've inspired me to take it up a notch and bring in an old TV from home and use TH-cam to find workouts. Can do it after work :) I hadn't even thought of online vids for proper workouts. Leveling up in 2021!!! Thanks.

My wife and I got this bike and have really enjoyed it. The one problem was that we had one that had some vibration and then the bearing must have gone out as the flywheel got super loud. I contacted Amazon and they replaced it no problem. I had to re-package the bike though and send it back. That was not easy... Hopefully the new one they sent us last longer than the first one we got. It is a really good bike as long as you don't get a lemon. Great video!

The thought of wearing a mask at the gym makes me want to cry, I have a hard enough time in public wearing one. I really think I will try this! I love the idea of the classes, the music, the mask free zone and the sweat! I have a perfect spot in the basement. Thank you so much for doing the testing because I would not have known any of that! Hi, Christine. I never intend to buy a spin bike, and I have never done such a work out myself. I'm interested in trying it some day when it is safer to try different gyms, but I don't see it as something I'd invest in long term any time soon. The big benefit with Peloton or IFIT is the bike will automatically adjust the resistance during the class to fit what the instructor is doing or the ride terrain. I'm not saying it is worth the extra $2500 but it is nice to not have to try to adjust a knob to the ups and downs when riding in Tokyo, the Blue Ridge Mnts or pushing intervals on Maui. The app and bike work seamlessly together.

My doctor just laughed and said eventually it will go back into place when the muscles pulling it out of place relaxed. Other than a muscle relaxer there wasn’t anything she could do for me. It took months. It finally popped back into place while I was doing yoga. Hope you heal quickly ❤️
