He's not "posing" as those gods. He *is* those gods. One people stole the religion and stories of another and changed them which then happened to them which happened to them and on and on. I thought there's a "The Perfect Ending" by actually saving everyone instead of asking Galerius and also talking to each character. Too bad there's none. Galerious won't even win the election and thus not freeing Dali, if you do the saving things yourself. Also, you can't go back to Naevia. But still, it's a great game and a fun ending.
well first off: i played this game because i played the skyrim mod and was in love with the concept. after i heard, thes making a full game out of it, i was excited because that means its bigger and doenst have to obey the limits of bethesdas engine. now that ive played it, its not as grand and perfectly scripted as i hoped for or expected. i know thats its a hell of lot of work to program all the possible variables, but it thought he would to that way, since the world is really smal and all the work can be put in the interactions with the player, the world and the characters. without knowing which ending i would get, my goal was to get into that temple. reason for it beeing was that i wanted to know, who the entity is behind all this, since the skyrim mod told us "theres someone behind the curtain" and i was in for a suprise. i had the same feeling that i had when i first played assassins creed back then when i entered the temple but the ending thats attached to that? well yes, its all a story, a tale that supposed to have an wonderfull end, and it is wonderfull, cherfull.. but all those people now in our time and getting along there? i really cant drop my disbelief so deep that i see that as working out in so many ways. yes, they got money from charon to make a living but how are they supposed to interact with the world. theres the language barrier, even if charon took care of that and implanted english into everyone of them, what about ID's, certificates? how can they get along in a world thats so different from theirs? am i supposed to belive they adapted within one year? iam not sure, if it was a good idea to bring them all into our time, or to have al do some research and get a "after duly left the forgotten city, he..." kind of ending. but this way, it feels like you brought a dragon from a fantasy world into ours and no one would notice or care about it and the story wants you to take that as straight as you can
Crazy how much better the voice acting was in the Skyrim mod. Proof that even now you can't pay a person to do better work than someone doing it for nothing more than the love of doing it.
Thanks for this. I couldn't get the canon ending because my game bugged and the election for Galerius would never get held, so I wasn't able to get the final tablet.
@@ChrisAegrim I did, she kept saying that the election had already been held and that I must have missed it, despite being right at the start of my current loop. It was a shame.
If you find something in the game, there's a revelation about her being Charon, and her subtitles actually change when you see her next. Apparently the player in these endings didn't find that in this video.
Yeah, I figured that out after an NPC or two. Kinda hard not to when you have people that pass out, wake up, then are escorted by the same Roman/Greek stranger the same as you.
@@nanashi1173 aaah i c. I dont know japanese. But nevertheless quite literally it is a very nice game. I loved it. Especially i gess made by 3 developers. Done quite a wonderful job
I'd like to see the 4th ending where everyone still remembers you. Gotta do a speed run through the town for that I guess. Anyone here know if someone already did that and uploaded it to TH-cam?
@@SearchGames You misunderstand. I'm not saying it's a different ending (hence I mention 4th ending). I'm just wondering what'll happen if you run through the town, talk with everyone, save the relevant people yourself instead of sending Galerius, and then before the day is over, go talk with Pluto. In theory, most of them should recognize you.
I got the 2nd ending but finished the game accidentally :D . I was trying to disrupt the election and get into the palace but ran out of arrows so i went in the underground door where sentilla was without actually knowing she was there so decided to rescue her at that point while i was there, At least i already knew Karen was Charon and that this was purgatory so ending didng ruin the mysetery just a bit annoyed i didnt do as much as id like to do :). PS In my ending, I confronted Karen and told her she was Charon but she was cool about it and she told me how both Al and I were murdered. She still took us home where ever that might me (Since we were murdered). Weird he had no recollection of me since we were close apparently
Just got the cannon ending 1st playthrough and wanted to know if there was another way, didn't realise there were so many more ending outcomes. Got that silver tongue trophy ^^
Kind of misleading this. You can get the Charon ending variation on any of the four endings if you discovered Karen is the Ferryman of the dead. I got that in my first ending which was number 2 buy only because I thought I'd be doing the obelisk after freeing Sentila (I didn't supsect her father was resonsible and didn't know the game would conclude there). Then I re-did the cistern and didn't free Sentila after speakng to her and instead went to he obelisk, a won the argument with Pluto and convinced him to leave. Proserpina keeps her powers at the end in the msuem. Presumbly she can use them to help the world or something.
he just sends archers after you, nothing much, if you draw your bow you get the chance to shoot persephone to steal her crown to use in the next loop to threaten hades and get the true ending
@@milkdrinker117 Because I previously had no intention of playing it, and could not easily find a plot synopsis online. Currently playong through, knowing the ending has not hampered my enjoyment.
How do you get that dialog choice about Galerius in Ending#3? I've done everything in every guide I've looked at and it never gives me the prompt to tell Galerius to round everybody up. I've also doen all dialog choices for Sentilla. Do you have to wait until after he's Magistrate? I've done all the other endings
first off. i love this game. I got the cannon ending my first playthrough and it was great. but what I don't understand is, how can Sentilla or anyone else remember anything about you after creating the paradox and thus never have been sent there in the first place? That's the biggest problem with ANY story that involves time travel as one of its core elements, you always end up finding something that just doesn't make sense or is never explained.
It's similar to the way you as the character would have been flung back into another timeline after creating the paradox. In this case, Pluto flung all of them as they are with you to a new timeline (I assume on accident judging from the dialogue) so all those experiences everyone had from your last loop is brought with them @Zee I believe it depends on who you talked to and what actions you did based on your last loop. If you just sent of Galerius to do everything and then ran off to the temple then they won't know you
Everyone has known this for a long time and it is still considered the 4th ending, since at the end they show what the ending was. Do not mislead people.
@@bradgoecks525 [Spoilers (obviously)] From what I remember, speak to Equitia or however you spell her name. Temple lady. Start talking about theology and the afterlife and it should start you down the path of talking to more people around the city to learn their history and how they ended up here. Gather enough clues and common threads and speak to her again, she'll take you to a location and reveal the big twist. From there, find four tablets that you need to open the Great Temple. Roman Tablet - Rufius, treat his Rheumatism first, then ask him about the Tablet. Press him on it and he'll reveal its location. Greek - Speak to Greek Mr. Clean if I recall right. Egyptian - Don't remember. Mysterious Tablet - Comes directly after getting the Egyptian Tablet.
Soo i just finished this game 2 hours ago and here what happened - first ending I always want to kill sentius because he had a key to the upper cistern but i just couldn't, i don't get this ending - second ending I managed to free Duli after galerius election i got the key and found sentilla she begged to be released but i want to save everyone, i don't get this ending. - third ending i do not release sentilla and i went to face hades, i took the crown and run back to the loop, when i met galerius the new options show up and i didn't choose it because i want save Persephone, i don't get this ending - forth ending After telling galerius to save ppl i went straight to hades throw the crown and dethroned him, and i win. Soo the story is i coincidentally get the best ending and i never know the all the ending until post credit
I don't quite understand why in the first ending, Al and the player character can't escape. What's the difference from the other endings from their perspective (other than having doomed all those people)?
I have wondered the same thing and watched this video to see if there would be a mention Naevia. I am thinking Galatea and the other peeled statues were too damaged to be included in the crowd below at the end. Too bad we can't ask Proserpina about their fate. It seems an awful big plot miss in a feel good ending that someone who was sensitive enough to hear the statues and try to free them was left to her miserable fate. Especially since Livia made it through okay. I would like to think the new underworld that Charon is making is where all those unfortunates wound up with no memory of their suffering.
I would rather have ending 3. While I find the Golden Rule/Experiment stiff, I find it a necessary evil. Whatever happens in the underworld after some of the humans escape, it's going to change everything for the gods and those survivors. It's going to be those humans's struggle to survive and earn freedom of their own. It's going to be an "Angel Beats" sort of struggle, except the law of the fittest is going to be more important.
@@Irfanfeudes I didn't 100% disagree with Hades and I think the humans would gain more in taking their lessons from that place more seriously on their terms while on the Underworld instead of coming to our world, where those lessons could easily be forgotten because of their happy endings.
[An honest review] I just got done finishing it. It had really good reviews and an interesting premise...but all in all I'd say it was average. I didn't feel that "post game depression" after playing. I never got brought to tears or felt actual anger or joy at any scene or dialogue... A heavily story based game that doesn't make you feel true emotion is a failure, in my opinion. Not saying I hated it, but it didn't do what I wish it did. Like during Outer Worlds on Eridanos I was actually genuinely sad to leave that planet when there was no more dlc content. Or during Nier Automatas true ending I just felt that feeling of like "what do I do with my life now?" Comparing it to triple A titles is a bit unfair, but like even telltale got 'The Walking Dead' right. We all cried when Clem and Lee had to say goodbye in the end. When a story based game fails to immerse you and make you feel an emotion, than it's just not a very well told story. That's why I, even though I appreciate that they tried and I see a real good effort here, it makes me sad to say that they missed the mark for me. If you're interested in this game (which idk why you'd be here watching the endings) then I'd reccomend that you at least wait for sale, or watch a ytber/streamer play it for a bit first. Other people may disagree, but that's just my take on this game.
I shed no tears either, but I felt joy for the characters being able to escape Plutos' grasp... for now. And of course hearing their relevant situation in modern times, like my precious Duli
@@andymandy6264 Calling it a philosophical game is a good take. @@LennyTheHopeless No worries. If you seek an emotional game I can highly recommend The Beginner's Guide. Lasts 1 and a half hour, and it's become a significant memory fragment for me in emotional games. It's so short that if you feel like you didn't enjoy it for some reason you can just refund it, or refund after you've enjoyed it, no judgement. It's made by the same guy who made The Stanley Parable. Man, I'm thinking about it and it makes me think about this one scene where I go around doing chores in a house. It's a beautiful sad piece. My bitter-sweet nostalgia is calling to replay it, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Shut up brain.
I've just played through the original Skyrim mod it's based on, kudos to the dev for making a standalone game like this, but the story being based in Skyrim's universe just did it better for me. At times I actually felt a bit claustrophobic, wanting to just load my save before starting the story and fuck right out of there, it has a more gloomier environment, and with knowing TES/Skyrim lore, it just makes some characters' situations/stories more depressing. Ofc, it's much shorter than a standalone game, but like you pointed out the problems with immersion, I think the mod does it more justice, because it's a weird/creepy/depressing time paradox situation in an already weird and crazy universe as it's in the Elder Scrolls universe. Definitely should give it a try if you own Skyrim 👍
@@petevineaux that makes me feel dumb lol I thought there was a button when you got the crown to rewind the time before the battle happened. Luckily I figured out how to talk sense into him.

well first off: i played this game because i played the skyrim mod and was in love with the concept. after i heard, thes making a full game out of it, i was excited because that means its bigger and doenst have to obey the limits of bethesdas engine. now that ive played it, its not as grand and perfectly scripted as i hoped for or expected. i know thats its a hell of lot of work to program all the possible variables, but it thought he would to that way, since the world is really smal and all the work can be put in the interactions with the player, the world and the characters. without knowing which ending i would get, my goal was to get into that temple. reason for it beeing was that i wanted to know, who the entity is behind all this, since the skyrim mod told us "theres someone behind the curtain" and i was in for a suprise. i had the same feeling that i had when i first played assassins creed back then when i entered the temple but the ending thats attached to that? well yes, its all a story, a tale that supposed to have an wonderfull end, and it is wonderfull, cherfull.. but all those people now in our time and getting along there? i really cant drop my disbelief so deep that i see that as working out in so many ways. yes, they got money from charon to make a living but how are they supposed to interact with the world. theres the language barrier, even if charon took care of that and implanted english into everyone of them, what about ID's, certificates? how can they get along in a world thats so different from theirs? am i supposed to belive they adapted within one year? iam not sure, if it was a good idea to bring them all into our time, or to have al do some research and get a "after duly left the forgotten city, he..." kind of ending. but this way, it feels like you brought a dragon from a fantasy world into ours and no one would notice or care about it and the story wants you to take that as straight as you can
Crazy how much better the voice acting was in the Skyrim mod. Proof that even now you can't pay a person to do better work than someone doing it for nothing more than the love of doing it.
this feels like someone has finally cracked the code for a Cannon Real Life beginning
what an amazing game O_O i was really moved by all the aspects of this game, great job!
1:12:52 I love that every answer you can give him as investing advice is a lie lmao
Thanks for this. I couldn't get the canon ending because my game bugged and the election for Galerius would never get held, so I wasn't able to get the final tablet.
You can always just talk to the priestess and tell her to start it immediately
@@ChrisAegrim I did, she kept saying that the election had already been held and that I must have missed it, despite being right at the start of my current loop. It was a shame.
@@VendettaSoundtracks start another loop
@@VendettaSoundtracks Another day another election xD
Just get the plaque without election: th-cam.com/video/ayy6Cq7Qg6c/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TaraBlara
Karen sounds like Charon after all. t.t
What's the difference between ending 2 and 3?
Wat a wonderful game. I love it
I see what you did there
@@nanashi1173 i dont understand. Wat did u c?
@@bloodpriest1302 Oh, I guess you weren’t being clever. The Japanese name for the game is “It’s a wonderful world”
@@nanashi1173 aaah i c. I dont know japanese. But nevertheless quite literally it is a very nice game. I loved it. Especially i gess made by 3 developers. Done quite a wonderful job
Nice, without dying once i got the cannon ending without killing proserpina on the first try
I’m only just learning you can kill Proserpina
Honestly when I got the canon ending I didn’t even know you could kill her lol I assumed it was like the Skyrim mod where you fight him instead 😂
16:39 I never got that dialog option 🤨🤔
I'd like to see the 4th ending where everyone still remembers you. Gotta do a speed run through the town for that I guess.
Anyone here know if someone already did that and uploaded it to TH-cam?
All endings are here. No others. The 4th final is also here, take a closer look.
So it was a mix of ending 2 and ending 4
Just got the cannon ending 1st playthrough and wanted to know if there was another way, didn't realise there were so many more ending outcomes. Got that silver tongue trophy ^^
I dont know if you have the game sounds turned way too high or are recording this game in a wind tunnel but you cant hear these people
Kind of misleading this.
The cannon ending was fucking insane and kinda stupid but I fucking loved it
I'd like to know what happens if you draw your bow to hades
he just sends archers after you, nothing much, if you draw your bow you get the chance to shoot persephone to steal her crown to use in the next loop to threaten hades and get the true ending
I got ends 1, 2 and 4 so I was curious what end 3 could be. Interesting :D I didn't think about doing that!
same
Yes, I only got 2 and 4 so was interested in seeing 1 and 3.
Is it just me or does Desius have the same voice actor as Patches from the Dark Souls series?
So, who else came here from Cohh?
What a fantastic game this was, amazing.
Btw, what happened to the crazy doctor experimenting with the statues in the canon ending?
@@adipocere3340 lmao
Amazing game. I got the canon ending first time. Just came here to see what other endings were possible lol
Oh my god, Duli is just precious
I can't see the difference between ending 2 and 3. Can somebody help?
man i got the canon on my playthrough such a great game but the other endings is kinda underwhelming tbh but the canon was just perfect
I haven't played the game, but watching the ending in the museum made me so emotional that I bought it after immediately after
why would you spoil yourself like that???
@@milkdrinker117 Because I previously had no intention of playing it, and could not easily find a plot synopsis online. Currently playong through, knowing the ending has not hampered my enjoyment.
How do you get that dialog choice about Galerius in Ending#3? I've done everything in every guide I've looked at and it never gives me the prompt to tell Galerius to round everybody up. I've also doen all dialog choices for Sentilla. Do you have to wait until after he's Magistrate? I've done all the other endings
Really enjoyed this game! Such a good twists on the story
This game deserves more hype
what a game, it blew my mind
(Spoilers)
Im sorry but Aurelia falling for a Nigerian prince scam is so fucking funny to me I'm losing my mind
Same here😂😂😂
Anyone tried to use gun to kill Pluto? Cuz gun can kill golden warriors, i wonder how it went
I tried to do it before the dialog started. It did nothing and I had to do the run back to the prosepina temple
first off. i love this game.
Well you remember things after going through the time portal, so does the creepy old dude so I'd expect that is why
according to the game you ran in there did your thing and disappeared into the light.
That's interesting that your characters remembered you because mine didn't when I played. None of them except for Galerius
It's similar to the way you as the character would have been flung back into another timeline after creating the paradox. In this case, Pluto flung all of them as they are with you to a new timeline (I assume on accident judging from the dialogue) so all those experiences everyone had from your last loop is brought with them
@Zee I believe it depends on who you talked to and what actions you did based on your last loop. If you just sent of Galerius to do everything and then ran off to the temple then they won't know you
Does anyone know what happens, when you ask the God of the Underworld, "why we can't we go to Elysium?" Like in 48:49 ?
step up from the skyrim mod. although i did enjoy the skyrim mod's music and voice acting more, this is still a great game
Lol, there’s actually a 5th ending that is similar to the 4th but you can actually kill the goddess for her tiara and prove to the god about the loop.
Everyone has known this for a long time and it is still considered the 4th ending, since at the end they show what the ending was. Do not mislead people.
..."unthaw" my goddess of spring time?
I just love the true ending, it's so cute, much better than most of the famous games' endings.
I wonder how Pluto felt about his name being associated with a dog owned by a giant mouse...
What's the difference between 2nd and 3th ending?
Imagine if you somehow created a double-paradox
NGL Equitia is pretty hot🥵🥵 . Lucky bastard Galerius.
How do the key to get into the great temple for the fourth ending
Figure out who the God is and go from there.
@@Avrysatos Um how do you do that😂
@@bradgoecks525
[Spoilers (obviously)]
From what I remember, speak to Equitia or however you spell her name.
@@bradgoecks525 Try asking everyone how they got there. Also, the priestess is key.
@@anothersomeone4244 how do I get the one guy out of his cell to get the Greek tablet cuz I got all the other tablets except the Greek one
Soo i just finished this game 2 hours ago and here what happened
- first ending
I always want to kill sentius because he had a key to the upper cistern but i just couldn't, i don't get this ending
- second ending
I managed to free Duli after galerius election i got the key and found sentilla she begged to be released but i want to save everyone, i don't get this ending.
- third ending
i do not release sentilla and i went to face hades, i took the crown and run back to the loop, when i met galerius the new options show up and i didn't choose it because i want save Persephone, i don't get this ending
- forth ending
After telling galerius to save ppl i went straight to hades throw the crown and dethroned him, and i win.
Soo the story is i coincidentally get the best ending and i never know the all the ending until post credit
do you remember all the statues scattered around the city? "of course" great cause they remember you...*tears were shread after this* XDDD
I don't quite understand why in the first ending, Al and the player character can't escape. What's the difference from the other endings from their perspective (other than having doomed all those people)?
because i imagine they dont know about the aquaducts
@@sen6728but I did learn about it before I triggered that ending... 🤔
What ever happened to Domitius? I didn't see or hear about him in the canon ending.
He died in a underground street fight (after he was kicked out of the ufc)
But what happened whit Naevia? I guess she was able to reunite with her statue / girlfriend lol
Immediately after watching this TH-cam played me an Ad for "Pluto TV" 😐
SERVANT ELEXA!
HAHAAHAHAAAAAAAA!
Oh, that poke me the funny bone real good!
I love all of these characters 💕
I would rather have ending 3. While I find the Golden Rule/Experiment stiff, I find it a necessary evil. Whatever happens in the underworld after some of the humans escape, it's going to change everything for the gods and those survivors. It's going to be those humans's struggle to survive and earn freedom of their own.
It's going to be an "Angel Beats" sort of struggle, except the law of the fittest is going to be more important.
?
@@Irfanfeudes I didn't 100% disagree with Hades and I think the humans would gain more in taking their lessons from that place more seriously on their terms while on the Underworld instead of coming to our world, where those lessons could easily be forgotten because of their happy endings.
[An honest review]
I just got done finishing it.
Or during Nier Automatas true ending I just felt that feeling of like "what do I do with my life now?"
Comparing it to triple A titles is a bit unfair, but like even telltale got 'The Walking Dead' right.
Characters differing perspectives on the golden rule was pretty interesting, and I definitely agree that it's impressive for the small team they had. The graphics were so beautiful that I now have a bunch of screenshots on my pc lol.
Forgot to give this game credit where it's due mb
I'm a fool and I'm gonna keep fooling, booting this bad boy up tomorrow.
Absolutely love the nigerian prince tidbit when talking to Julia . Laughed really hard at that!
How do you use the crown to rewind time?
@@petevineaux that makes me feel dumb lol I thought there was a button when you got the crown to rewind the time before the battle happened. Luckily I figured out how to talk sense into him.
@@petevineaux I finished the game today and had no idea you can kill Persephone...or what the deal with crown is. I just convinced Hades that his entire worldview is dumb and he should abandon the wager and let her and everyone go.
Why in some of the endings it’s not popping up that he he knows she’s charon?
1:04:09 PLEASE
Dude sounds like Corypheus from Dragon Age.
I see u never found out who karen actually was
I like how the developers ask right there on the opening page to NOT upload the ending after the White Hallway...and you do exactly that... They asked *one* thing of you...
Now the whole world will be destroyed!!
So ?
The people who don't want spoilers don't have to watch this video. But a lot of us have already played this game and appreciate the compare and contrast. My interpretation of the devs request was for early access streamers - not forever after. All the early access players I follow honored their request.
I dont understand the difference between 2 and 3 😮

That's because it is. It's a remake of that mod.
