I love the Dragonheart theme! It took me years to find out the name of it after I heard it. Randy Edelman, the composer, also wrote the soundtrack for Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. Also, one of my favorite themes!
YYYEEESSSSSSS. I watched it several times then! It has never been released on home video; it's impossible to see now! It and Four Friends are the best movies from HBO in the '70s.
This is coming on tomorrow (3-29-15) at 12:15 pm on MGM Channel. Somebody should record it because it is only on tv every 5 years or so and has never been released on vhs or dvd.
I remember the German ice dancers Petra Born and Rainer Schonborn using this lovely music for their freedance at the 1985 European and World Championships and one of the TV commentators saying it was "from an old film" - I assumed it dated back to the 1940's or even earlier! I hadn't caught the name of the film and honestly thought I'd never hear the music again. However, thanks to the internet and TH-cam I caught up with Born and Schonborn's performance a few years ago, from which I was able to identify the music and the film, at which point I was gobsmacked to learn that it was in fact composed in the late 1970's by the same bloke who wrote the theme tune to "Cagney & Lacey"!
I want to watch this movie. But i couldn't find it anywhere. How can i watch again? I think this movie is more diffrent than the others. It is important for me.
If you're still interested, it was released -- newly restored -- by Kino Lorber on Blu-ray. I tried finding a respectable copy for years, but all that surfaced were pan-and-scan versions from TV that looked like a copy of a copy of a copy.

初めまして。公開当時リアルタイムで観ました。
導入部でコラムニスト (Paul Sorvino)がタイプを打ちながらの記事を読む部分で引き込まれました。何と言っても踊り子（セイラ・ガンツ：Anne Ditchburn)が美しくしいのが印象的で、ダイエットにサラダばかり食べていたのも。
サントラのLPは購入しましたがビデオは有ったのかな?
彼女はカナダのナショナルバレエのダンサーで後年振り付けをされていた様です。これまで2回ほどTV放映を観ました。
