Hi there Al and I have passed on the kind wishes from everyone, it's very touching. These Midtowns are incredible value and no wonder they took sales away from the 335 - looks like an ES and plays like a Les Paul; brilliant :-)
Great video as usual Roxy what a stunner the guitars not bad either 🤣🤣🤣 i didn't even know they existed that shape and sound is beautiful im like you i can't play those larger shaped es335 they just don't feel comfortable too me the top is amazing love the new back drop very festive take care my mate have a lovely weekend 👍👍👍
Hi Graham :-) Hahaha, more back drops on the way for a while :-) These guitars are astonishing value. Looks like a 335 without the size and the other associated issues and they were an absolute snip at the time. Wish they'd bring 'em back! Take care too, buddy - see you soon :-)
Hi Ben, these are cracking guitars and terrific value.....if you can find one at sensible money! So easy to get along with and I love the looks and those P90's are astonishing :-)
Sorry for your loss seems that we all lose important people regularly these days part of the gathering years I suppose,,✌️. Like the guitar and a mate of mine had a verythin when I was a teenager had it strung lefty so I couldn't.play it still listed after it ended up buying a Columbus semi.that was horrible (about 71 or 72 ) sold it and got a Hofner colorama Which I still own (one of those covered in white vinyl!) But my first guitar was a Shaftsbury thinking Tele copy (still got that) 24 1/2" Gibson scale . ✌️👍🇫🇴😁
Hi and thanks Bill - I've passed on the well wishes to mate's lad and certainly, at my age, I can only expect this to happen. Ah, the Verythin! Weirdly enough, I had one of those in the early 70's too. Terrific instruments. I traded a Hagstrom LP copy in for it and never had a regret. I think it's truly commendable that you've hung on to your schooldays guitars. Ha! A Tele with a Gibson scale sounds great :-)
Lovely guitars, plays like a LP because it is chambered rather than hollow with a centre block like a 335, however with the P90's which are my favourites, you can dial up Epiphone Casino sounds without the feedback, and that wine colour is amazing, I certainly wouldn't be letting that one go. My only criticism is you've now let the secret out the bag.
Hi Michael, totally agreed on this. I have literally no idea why these were discontinued because IMO this is one of Gibson's broader churches. Exactly as you say, zero feedback, an utterly mind-blowing variety of tones and such ease of playability. I could only hope they'll bring them back at some point......incredible value for money, too :-)
Nice guitar 👌🏻. Sorry for your loss and best wishes to the gentleman’s family.

Fabolous music! Rock n' Roll!
Thanks Blue :-) These are proper Rock 'n' Roll machines and suited to a whole bunch of styles - get one while you can!
Love all your video mate 🎸🔥
Thanks Bruce, it really means a lot :-) More guitar based tomfoolery on the way :-)
P90s are rock n roll 🎸
Hi Paul, they are indeed! IMO this one that Gibson should still be producing - looks like an ES, plays like a Les Paul; what's not to like? :-)

Gorgeous guitar roxy, I remember the black one you reviewed. Love that it has a flat top rather than arched. Classy 😎👍
