It’s ridiculous how he’s called a flop when there’s maybe 2 players that had as good a career as Neymar this generation that being Suarez and Lewa (obviously excluding M&R) Neymar would’ve been in the goat debate had he been born 10 years earlier or even 10 years later

God i dont like when videos go "lets start from the beginning. X was born in...." no we dont need to know the colour of his fav shirt growing up. On topic though: Neymar had 3 issues. He was lazy as fuck, greedy as fuck, and mentally weak as fuck. The 3 worst enemies of successful careers.

Here's the thing, nobody has that level of work ethic. The physicality, the drive to strive for wins even after winning so much, is what makes CR7 one of a kind. But it should not be a standard for footballers, there're just not enough people like that haha😂

I will say not greatest but neymar could come close to Ronaldo , but achieving what messi has achieved is not possible because messi won 3 ucl ,3 golden boots ,4 ballon Diors in a row,4 fifa the best and a treble and a sextuple before the age of 25 , achieving this stats of messi before the age of 25 is likely close to impossible 💀💀💀 and also remember messi despite being a winger and a goal scorer has the most assists and the most playmaker awards and the fact that playmaker awards are mostly for midfielders , btw no hate even Ronaldo is not in the league of messi forget about neymar 💀💀💀☠️

Neymar was thrown out into Mbappe's shadow because (he's young and won the world cup) and later on Messi also got signed which is the whole reason he left barcelona. And later on many expensive signings were made, it was team full of solo plays, none of the player were built around someone. If he went a club where he would have been the heart if the team it would have been different. Like most brazillian legends he could have joined Ac Milan or a prem club other than Chelsea ( he would have been in Eden Hazards shadow) And any team other than Bayern where he could shine in the bundesliga)

Neymar helped Brazil win an Olympic gold medal(something no other great Brazilian was able to do), Copa America, UCL Champion, La Liga Champion, Brazil top scorer, Ligue Champion, Balon D oro top nominee, etc and yet ya’ll think he is a failure????? Bruh ya’ll just some envious haters for real!!!

he never won Copa America, but that’s what this video is about. If he would have won Copa America, or the World Cup in ‘14, ‘18 or ‘22 he would be in that spot that Messi and Pele are in now.
He’s one of the best Brazilians ever, but not one of the best footballers ever unfortunately

Neymars mistake was chasing the Balon D'or. Chase team achievements and that'll get you the Balon D'or. Playing alongside Messi in 2015 was the 1st and last time Neymar placed top 3 in Balon D'or rankings. Also dumb for him to care what the media headline was after the Remontada. Your teammates and fans know what you contributed. Messi is the most unselfish player and gave you the pk that game and if Balon D'or was your ambition Messi even said he would help you achieve that. Barcelona literally brought him in to take over the reigns of the club after Messi. He was in the perfect environment. Then the 2nd dumb thing was going to Saudi for the money when he had a lot of career left. He was a great player just wish he had a better mentality. Aside from that his career was derailed by injury after injury at the most inopportune moments since he left Barca. When he was fit he was a spectacle to watch and for one reason or another we rarely saw Neymar, Messi and Mbappe play together n fulfill their potential at PSG

He loves money more than football. The day he moved to PSG was the day his career ended. If he stayed at Barcelona, he would have won at least 2 more UCLs and so many other titles.

He was undisciplined, too into women, thought he was a businessman first then footballer second (the reverse were to be true, like Messi and Ronaldinho), he was always looking for the spotlight instead of being the man for the next match. He maybe be Brazil' best skilled footballer to never raise the cup.

This video is unwittingly revealing that Messi has attracted the support of the establishment, whilst the "New", embodied in Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar had to be suppressed.
Messi was a re-edition of Maradona, with less charisma. The short, left-footed player is over. Cristiano Ronaldo played equally well with both feet, with the head, and all of his body for that matter. He could resolve games on his own, not depending on a team around him.
He was attracting too much money, money and attention that made the UEFAs and FIFAs of this world uncomfortable.
Messi was a good patsy to support and deflect from the NEW.
