These countries have 10 World cups amongst themselves, and to think the top scorer for all three of them played together, in their peak, is just insane to think about
Neymar played 30 more games for Brazil than Pele. In terms of World Cups won its Pele 3-0 Neymar.
Athletic standards may well be higher these days, but I am not buying anyone who says Neymar is a better contributor to Brazilian football than Pele.

It's no coincidence that the attacking trio represent Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. This is the quality of the players and the level of football played in South America, though the Europeans have a hard time processing this.

It seems the main reason why this trio worked so well is that despite their individual talent they were able to put their ego aside and just enjoy the moment. And sadly that is also why there won't be another one like this ever since players nowadays are so full of themselves and it's all about money.
I love the fact that this trio are friends beyond the pitch, and even beyond Barça. I'm glad that the brilliance I saw on the pitch was genuine and not just some formality as teammates or even colleagues.
It's even more special considering that treble season felt like a cure for all three of them, after the pain and heartbreak they experienced in the 2014 World Cup.
Greatest Attacking Trio ever. As a Barca fan, one of the most memorable time periods for me. Hard to see another attacking trio coming close to them any time soon.

The greatest trio I’ve ever witness, and in many ways the beast team, they were pure magic on the pitch. A little thing that’s wrong in the video, Suarez didn’t “jumped ship”, Barca kick him out for being old and finished, and he took Ateltico to win the title the next season, was a beautiful little revenge story

Real Madrid used to intimidate other opponents but were always fearful of Barca. Even, at times, they resorted to dirty tactics but simply couldn't stop Messi. Messi displayed great mental strength when playing against the arch-rivals and it is one of the reasons why Messi is such an unbelievable player. He used to raise his game against the Madrid giants.
They met in UCL in the semifinals where Barca won 3-1 on aggregate including 2-0 at Bernabeu aided by Messi's brilliance;
Regarding humiliating defeats, as I repeat, no other club has inflicted such consistent damage on Real Madrid as Barca did during the Messi/Ronaldo era;

6-2 in 2009;
5-0 in 2010;
4-0 in 2015;
3-0 in 2017;
Messi and Barca simply towered over RM during this period, which is evidenced by the number of La Liga/Copa del Rey titles won by Barca during this time as compared to RM;
Of course, Barca lost to other teams during this period like Juventus/Inter/Bayern/Chelsea etc., in CL but I was just talking about the edge of Barca over RM during this time and the humiliation it handed out on several occasions.
Both are great clubs but with different football philosophy. I like Barca because it plays attacking and attractive football and it's academy produces world class players. It is "More than a Club"...

Most important thing about these 3 was - they played selflessly and they kept team before individual performance which benefitted Barca alot in 2015 to 17 !! They use to support eachother, search for eachother and fight for eachother with opponents!! Love the trio -

Scoring 7-0 in almost every match day , thought it was normal. Crazy Right , now we struggle to score just one goal. MSN was the best attacking trio that ever existed. I don't think we'll ever see 3 of the 4 best players in an era to make a trio and it actually being a major success. Had Ney come to Barca when he was young like Ney and Suarez joined Barca back in 2011 or 2012, these players would've won 2 more UCL and Ney and Suarez would've won a Ballon do'r each. As a Barca fan 2015 just brought the happiest tears I ever shed. Now in 2023 that MSN is no longer in Europe not only am I sadden and still hurt by Neymar leaving in 17 but I found new appreciation of the absolute majesty that we seen from these 3 titans that composed of the G.O.A.T, the greatest if not a top 5 of the greatest number 9s of all time, and a Brazilian wizard that at his best was held in the upper echelon of the greatest Brazilians to ever do it like Pele and Ronaldinho.

That first season of this trio was pure magic. They flew over every team in UCL with an ease never seen before or after. After that, the team remained unchanged and they were less hungry for victory, perhaps too infatuated by their obvious superior talent. It's the difference with Real Madrid, they're more obsessed by the beauty of the game than by victory per se. They lack that Zidane mentality that brought Madrid those three consecutive UCL's in the following years.
I disagree, Zindane got his ass wooped in La liga by Barcelona in the same years they won the champions league 3 times in a row.

Truly the end of an era. Football will most likely not see such talented individuals play at the same time.
One of the best trio ever not just for scoring goals but also entertainment level. To me, the huge factors are that Neymar was also hungry to win trophies to prove himself and didn't mind not being the focus of the team. And also that selfless running from Suarez which is super important. Always running for space and didn't mind giving assist to his teammates. Not to mention he actually has super good finishing. With that, Messi can share the burden with of scoring goals with them since they can also create on their own.
That 14/15 Barcelona team was the best team to ever play the game, I refuse to believe otherwise.

Neymar's peak was during his years at Barcelona. For some reason at PSG he was already on the decline, he wasn't that old at the time of the transfer either, he was only 25. I think he just didn't care anymore.

I am fan of madrid, big fan. I love BBC, they are remarkable for me (and can be compared to top trio that has ever been or will be) especially in early years of Bale in Madrid. But MSN is still superior by quite much, i hate to admit it but DAMN Those Trio are deadly. Winning the champions league 3 years in a row means you just played well in that tournament 3 years in a row not hard to throw all other trophies so you can play less games and be rested. Also back in 60's and 70's UCL/EC was like 8 games. It was very different competition in very different times. That's why UCL is treated kinda separately when it comes to winning it or records. Now you have 6 games in group alone so you can end up with some random guy in shit team scoring more UCL goals than Di Stefano without going past 1st stage.
Also sextuple is such an overrated thing to begin with when winning 2 trophies is literally 3 games and 3rd trophy is against teams from leagues that are 4th tier in Europe at best. But obviously to Barca fans winning against idk, Al Hilal = winning UCL.

As a Real Madrid fan, and a Barcelona fan in my father those years were absolutely peak in my life. We didn’t miss a game and both team were so beautiful to watch game after game after game. I couldn’t even hate how strong they were, I’m glad I could see both team at their full potential and enjoy every single game even when we lost those games

That was because they had a very legendary player as their manager, zinedine zidane, who strategized their formations logically, not to mention, they had other good players like casemiro, allowing strong offense and defense

the most underrated TRIO for me will always be CARLOS TEVEZ,CRISTIANO RONALDO & ROONEY i.e, CCR 😊❤ i know that they dont play together for long but during their time they were unstoppable and a pure destruction for their opponents.They even had achieved the TREBLE too !!
