That looks like a very nice Machine. Do not give the old machine away you may need a back up at some time. Clessie did only pay a little for the machine because back 20 years ago the prices were a lot less than they are today

I'm paying off my debts so I can get an industrial walking foot juki for my handbags and heavy stuff I like to sew. I have a herd of other machines to use for lighter prettier stuff too. Yay, a new machine is SO exciting!

Omg, keep your old machine!! If your new one ever needs to be serviced, you’ll have a dependable back up! I looked at my serger that way when I first brought her home. Congrats on your new baby!

Hi kiana, I have been doing some research, and am looking to buy the same model. I bought the Juki Hzl-F400 on Amazon and had to return it twice because I found the external parts to be plastic and of poor quality. Both machines came with broken parts. So, with the machine you have, how has it performed since the day you bought it? Would you still recommend it today? Would really appreciate your feedback. Thank you ♥️

because of how much presser feet there are included, it probably did raise the price. Because most (good) presser feet are 10-15 dollars and there were 15 of them so that’s like at-least $80-100 but compared to the price of the juki machine, it’s not that much.

Juki is the number one sewingmachine maker. they are the biggest in the fashion world. super reliable, very good engines in them digital self thinking pressure foot and so much more. the most beautiful one is the straightstitch machine 9000C. the one you have, if you give it some maintenance every couple years is gonna survive you.

I am a huge brother sewing machine fan..so I am not surprised it has lasted 20yrs and still works. Every new machine I have gotten were brothers..I do have several vintage machines that work wonderfully and they are older then me..like 52-56 years old..yea they will out last anything..

I learned to sew on a machine that cost £45 new.... yes £45.. I finally bought a new machine last year for £400 and its such a difference :O Mine is mechanical too meaning I also get to press a button and it will lift the foot and even sew for me! Its a great machine but this Juki machine just looks amazing. I did actual industrial sewing for a while and the companies machines were amazing, a knee pedal is just chef's kiss! Pivoting with both hands while sewing and moving the presser foot is a literal dream.
Damn I wish I had gotten a Juki, I got an industrial Jack F4 for $950CAD and I’m losing my mind here, the hook timing goes off so often. Love you and your videos though, I’m gonna be applying to fashion school in December

Make sure to try the knee lift, it’s even better than the button. And set your multifunction foot controller to either back stitch or thread cut. The best of three machines I’ve bought too. Including a babylock aria.

I have an old juki that I bought secondhand. Didn't think it would be wise to spend a lot when I'm still starting. Works wonderfully still. 💖

To slide your sewing machine more easily across your desk, I recommend setting it on a thin flexible cutting mat from the Dollar Store. You get two in a package for a dollar. You can cut it to a convenient size with scissors. I love how easy it makes it for me to slide my machine where I need it, since my sewing desk is also my computer desk and I have to keep my space flexible.
I only have your old one please if I can just because I dream of having that even if it is memorable to you if it is ok with you
