Awesome song, awesome solo, awesome album! After hearing it for the 1st time (friend cd), went to buy it right away. For then on, MSP were always one of my fav bands. This one is on my top 3 MSP songs: others are If you tolerate this then your children will be next and Motorcycle emptiness.
Remeber seeing them singleton park in Swansea .amazing live they had bottles and everything thrown at them from Jack's cos they valley band and still played amazing .
Your right but I think this is one of MSP weaker albums.....a lot of second LPs are esp if debut is successful.... The fire, eagerness, spirit can be lacking.... Especially as the label gave them ££££££ and a luxury studio.....MSP are better in a rough studio, deadlines and obstacles..... Not coddled like "Pink floyd" etc...,,
