I am also criticizing the functioning of legal aid and reforms that are needed to make justice accessible. Isn't it true that today, laws are for a common man but justice is for the rich only in India? We also have too many vacations for judges as if they are school kids but I understand that they get burned out and need leaves to stay sane. I am myself not able to avail justice for my suffering because either the lawyers are expensive or legal aid does not work or the case never shows up. Still, there is a little hope left in me that things might improve.

Like if a police does not register FIR, go for 156.3 If they dont investigate after FIR, again go for monitoring via court. If they dont add relevant section in chargesheet, go for protest petition. And on and on the harassment of a litigant continues. Often, completely innocent people get trapped by the system and are still waiting trial/appeal in jail. We need strong consequences. If a case reaches court just to make police do their job, courts needs to punish the govt employees. Too much backlog already. The moment these people get fined/suspended, law enforcement will improve. Then judges will be able to look at important cases.
