this is awesome. love how Dimentio calls out the "envy of green"; it's a very popular theory that Luigi's self-doubt and insecurity of living in his brother's shadow is what makes him the perfect host for the Chaos Heart.
And with the chaos heart basically reversing his personality, Mr. L is then the worst host for the chaos heart

Getting compared to Man on the Internet probably feels annoying, but I don't just want to just spout synonyms for good either. I do usually like comparing things so here goes. One problem I had when relistening to the one by Man on the Internet is it's repetition. It's can be slightly obtuse where where you are in the song when playing a loop, though I can tell. This isn't a negative towards the original, but sometimes the music drowns into the background when listening to it over and over. This "fixes" that, or rather brings a different approach, while keeping all the lyrics golden. Eh, maybe I shouldn't always give out hyperbole, so lets say silver. Basically: I like it.

My personal favourite flavour of this cober is him talking about "game overs" and "quiting." It's in the games humour to treat itself as a game so I find this would be the games choice of a lyrical cover.
It's absoulutely because "game over"="death" in super paper mario world "till your games be over" is what is said at peach and bowser "wedding" at the begging of the game
Both MOTI and yours take on different ways of the song, but I think that both are good in their own ways. I have plenty of "nostalgia" with the former, but I really love this one too, so it's kinda hard to pick a favorite, plus yours tells a bit of a story and goes more into detail about Dementio's aims, which is a big plus over the former's.

I just really like how well you captured Dimentio's character here. The poetic choices of words was well-executed to say the very least. And the similes sounded like stuff that Dimentio would actually say too.
A little bit of advice; I recommend leaving a pause in the lyrics here and there to let the words set in the listeners' ears better, and improve the emotional vibes it gives.
HOLY SHIT DUDE THIS IS AMAZING! DIMENTIO TALKING ABOUT THE DARK PROGNOSTICUS AS IF HE WAS THE AUTHOR AND KNEW ALL ABOUT THE CHAOS PROPHECY. HIM COMMENTING ABOUT HOW HE HAD TO WAIT IN THE SHADOWS UNTIL THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO STRIKE. THIS IS A 10 OUT OF FUCKING 10 COVER. WELL DONE SIR!

@@dimentiominionYeah, but it was more like he was trying to tell us that the magician was PostSPM Blumiere and his human wife was Timpani. The Pixl Queen has the soul of a human. And since humans can not use magic, the human was a girl. Blumiere even has a magician hat. And according to Merlon Dark Prognosticus said that "A destructive power has conquered all worlds" . As in... what was happenning after the Blumiere and Tippi left. As in... the magician wrote his experience from the future in a book before his game ended. Besides, I really think the author would be more powerful than Count Bleck. Why didn't Dimentio attacked him years ago? And don't tell me "It was not the right time". That excuse doesn't explains anything.
