That's cool that you can drive all away up there. Great views. This chicken looked delicious 😋

Ya the drive was very mellow too! The funny thing about the chicken was that I actually forgot plates and sides so we just had chicken. We just made it work lol. Thanks watching and commenting! 👍🏕😀

Which trail did you take up here?(Nevermind 8N04 & 8N24) Also, have you been since this video was shot? The trails that lead up there are way more difficult now due to all the weather we've had this past year. Lockwood Creek Trail is rated moderate on trails off road. Definitely not accessible by any vehicle now(4X4 required apparently). I too have a Subaru. Unless there's a trail I'm missing in my investigation into my trip planning.

We went up 8N04 Frazier Mountain rd The start is right at the Chuchupate Campground. Not sure what weather has done to the road since we filmed this. It was an easy dirt road like really easy when we did it. I would call the ranger station Monday thru Friday reg business hours and ask a ranger there’s a station right at the start of that rd they would know the current conditions hopefully this helps and your able to do it.

I did there’s a video on the channel of Mt Pinos campground. I don’t remember the exact mileage probably somewhere between 2 and 5 miles.

Looks like there's enough space for a full size rig, how was the trail? Pretty smooth?

Ya not bad. The road was graded so it was nice. Not super smooth but not super rocky either
