Once again your composition turned out some amazing works. Ironically enough, the mistakes we make while creating can possibly become the most beautiful “river of gold “. I too am drawn to that card the most but they are all lovely.
Nice, this was a score of a video. I agonized over buying marbling stamps. But with your video, I can make it with everything I already have. Thank you for this tutorial.
I love these, and can’t wait to try out the technique with the acetate and foiling. I bought some of these markers a while ago, and was very impressed with their highly pigmented colour.
Congratulations 🎊 on smashing through that 1,000 barrier & galloping towards 2,000 💪👏 I love these cards & know my granddaughter & her friends will enjoy creating some ... thank you 😍
Yes, please, Lucy…can u show us how u made the tear look so beautiful with the gold. BTW, I’ve never really been drawn to marbling…colours usually seem to become a muddied. But the way u’ve done these cards is lovely and colours don’t look muddied. I think the addition of the metallics also makes colours more vibrant. You’ve completely changed my view of marbling😃
Hi Celina, I hope you're well. I'm so sorry I think I may have missed this conversation. I'm glad you liked this video and have got a different opinion on marbling now. Yes, I will absolutely try to upload something soon that shows you how I tear my papers :) XOX Lucy
Lucy that foil tip is so clever. I can’t believe I never thought of that. BTW I hope everything is ok. I haven’t seen a new video and wanted to reach out. You’ve been on my mind ❤
Hi Brenda! You are so sweet, thank you! I received the gorgeous (and so very thoughtful) card on Friday, just before I went in for a day surgery so that really lifted my spirits. It’s so lovely to be the recipient of a personalised card like that, thank you! I will have a video coming out this week, I have a couple of half done ones. It’s my birthday today so I’m relaxing but this week I’ll be right back into it 😁. Have a fantastic day 😘♥️♥️♥️
@@lucypatrick happy happy happy birthday! 🎂🎊🎉🎈 I am glad everything is ok. I just wanted to reach out so you know you’re thought of. I made the card using a homemade stamp from die cuts using craft foam. I had all the numbers 10, 11 and 12000 but when I cut it down some numbers didn’t make the cut. Lol you’ll be at 12k before we know it. Have a fabulous day spending time with your family.
Fantastic results Lucy. Could you please tell me the type of pens you used at the beginning. No matter how many times I rewind, these old eyes of mine simply can't pick up on the screen. Mind you, that could be because having found your channel this evening, I'm hooked. I've subscribed and been binge watching all evening. 😃😊🙃 Your channel should come with a health warning Lucy..........dangerously addictive, beware. I'm loving all the tips I'm finding here, thank you so very much. Regards from UK 🇬🇧
Oh that's funny and my husband wonders why I have a big head, it's from reading comments like this hehe!! Sadly the pens are no longer available but you can definitely do the same technique with other inks or markers. Adding the inks to acetate then add water before popping it onto watercolour card helps to give a smooth finish. There's no mistakes with this as they will always look different and just remember how awful mine looked during the process. XOX
Love these beautiful cards! Just found your channel, and I will subscribe. Quick question….. what type of foil did you use and did you wait for the glue to dry before rubbing the foil over it, or do you apply the foil right after applying the glue? Thanks for any assistance.
Thank you for your sweet comments. I just used cheap foil (from China) and yes, I waited for the glue to dry a bit but not fully before applying the foil. I hope this helps XOX ps sorry for late reply, I was out all day
Love your cards and your techniques, but more so your delivery. So very relaxing to listen too !
Best wishes from England x
