The long awaited CLA 45 S facelift review is out! Your thoughts on this new version, the new lights, and the new hyper blue and spectral (starling) blue options?!
The touchpad is a serious loss like someone else mentioned. I had the CLA before, now an E-class. I use the touchpad for almost everything.
It’s a shame how they removed the touch pad in the CLA facelift. It wasn’t just extremely useful, it also looked great, it gave a premium look to the interior. What’s worse is that they replaced the area with a useless empty space which cannot even fit an iPhone; makes you wonder what were they thinking and what exactly do they expect us to do with that space. Ironically, they didn’t remove the touchpad from the new GT.
They just took allot away ... its crazy even if you think of the other facelift still have the touchpaf

The new steering wheel is cool, I was wondering why they hadn’t embedded it earlier from the other AMGs.
Love the new blue colour, a really grown up package. Shame the BHP has not increased or 0-62 is not sub 4 secs too. Thanks for video !!!

amazing. do you know if the 8G DCT transmission of the CLA45S is also shared with models such as the CLA 200 and CLA 250? i think the facelift has brought the 8G DCT to the the 200 and 250s
1.33L CLA 180 and CLA 200 have 7G DCT. All other have 8G DCT

I've ordered this same car with AMG performance seats and grey mountain (no magno) color. I can't wait to receive it! What do you think in terms of interior space and quality of material compared to the class c? Nowadays I'm driving a C200 from 2022.
Harsh ride, poor interior sound proofing. But fun and fast as hell. I can live with the small cabin, harsh ride, tyre noise, because of that drive train. It will make you smile. All that matters. I love my MY22.5 CLA45S.

From the information you tagged on the last review of the pre facelift Mercedes noted that the 35 received electric assistance, but not the 45. Is that true? I own the ‘22 CLA 45 and think it needs electric assistance in the very early revs of the engine (the boost is aggressive).
Correct, only 35 got mild hybrid assist, not the 45

I think it looks fantastic except for the privacy glass in the rear. In my opinion it ruins the fluidity of the design. I know it's a big trend but I fail to see the advantage. If a thief wants to break in, eh will.
06:16 Not distronic is a shame on such a nice car.
Just not configured with it this particular car. I would like to have a full assist system with Distronic as well - but not everyone wants it. I know a guy and he doesn't even use cruise control at all in his A 45 S Facelift. But yeah Distronic is helpful to me for sure.
Love everything on this car, except that they've removed the touch pad. How dare you Mercedes. Leaving us with an empty unuseable space...

Its a shame if they stop using Michelin Pilot 4S. It was an amazing tyre. Conti sucks.
Manufacturer is always changing tires, usually 2-3 brands of tires on the same model in the factory, so this doesn't mean they stopped using Michelin PS4S

Overall this car is a downgrade to the pre facelift. The lights are boring to the pre facelift & they did not even improve the look of it ... except the colour and the electric battery assistence
