Cool idea to use the boat as a camper. Great cooking setup! Thanks for once again, removing someone else's garbage from the beautiful islands. Love the Axial Capra rock climber!! What a great idea for checking out the area. Looks like It worked pretty good - even in sand.
Hello Anne! Gosh, thanks for the nice comment. lol - The Axial was fun - may have to include on future vids lol. Don't know if I will do this type of camping again soon - but it was fun! Thanksfor watching!
Hello, I wish I could have thought of something to do with that dang thing, lol. It would have made a great short if I would have went to the ground wrestling with it, lol. Hey, Thanks for watching!
Man, I really enjoyed this video. You have access to a lovely place :) and big props to you for shipping some inconsiderate idiots rubbish out, unfortunately they are in every corner of the Globe. Greetings from the UK.
Hello Stuart! Cool to get a nice comment from the UK. Glad you enjoyed the vid. It was a fun time. I am getting ready to launch the Macgregor along with the FB365. More to come. Thanks again for the comment and for watching!
lol, It was fun to send out the RC car..., I need to bring it along again. Also, It's great not worrying about the boat at night, rolling it up onshore is nice. Thanks again for watching!
Brother, I am planning to buy one in the future!! Here, Pinellas County, we have a honeymoon island park. It's definitely a place I would consider.. You know of it look on the map!!❤😂
Hello, I will definitely check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. These small baots are a lot of fun and fairly inexpensive. Hope to bring some more vids this summer. Thanks for watching!
Hello Maribeth, Thank you so much for the nice comment, I aprreciate it. I have fun - maybe sometimes a little nuts but what the heck. Thanks for watching! (planning another right now)
Really digging the channel, man. Sorry that the air deck did not work out as a mattress, but your sacrifice is very much appreciated, nonetheless. Very interested to see how your journey with those trim tabs works out (I just ordered them for my 10.8' sib and hoping they're worth it... 😟) By the way, I can only aspire to have your packing and organization skills. Thanks and looking forward to future videos!
Hello Ben, I just made an adjustment to the tabs - drilled a couple new hole for placement - easy as its aluminum. I also changed my prop on the 9.9 to a 8.5 pitch - hope this makes a difference, she should just skim across the water - but not yet. Hey thanks for the nice comment and thanks for watching!
Hello, Thanks for the nice comment. Just an old guy having fun on the water. I plan to take it some new places in the near future. Thanks for watching!
Hello, This was an Aleko product that was available on their website and on Amazon. Recently however, it appears they are either out of stock of no longer available, not sure. Aleko had several sizes as one time. Sorry, wish I could help. Thanks for watching!
How did the tent do with keeping out mosquitoes? Looks open back near the motor. Also, you mentioned trim tabs don’t work well but can’t find the follow-up to that in your videos?
Hello, You will find my next update of the FB365 at the beginning of the video named "Part 1 Solo Boat Camping, Santa Rosa Sound ICW" . Sorry about that I should have been more clear. Honestly I have not been in a high mosquito environment with this cover. You would want to add some type of screens as you are right - they could get in fairly easily. Thanks for watching!
Hello Jose, I was on the NW corner of Makaph Island, I think that would make it not quite across but just east. Thanks for the nice comment and for watching!
Hello! I'm thinking about getting this boat. Your video have been very helpful! I'm undecided abt which motor to get. I would like to put a 20 or 25 mercury on it bc speed will be important for what I want to do, but I'm really concerned about the weight because I'll be solo most times. What kind of top speed do you get with the 9.9? Can you do a video about how you like that motor on that boat? Maybe some more positives and negatives about the boat itself? Thank you in advance? Looking forward to your future videos!
Hello Cobbs, This boat has smaller diameter tubes than the 13' and even larger on the 14'. I am a big fan of 18"+ tube diameter. Bris and others have smaller boats with larger diameter side tubes. I like this boat and will be doing some speed testing but I was really fighting to get her on plane so speed was terrible - my next adventure will be with two Bris boats, a 14' and a 8'. Should be fun. (I will add more about the Saturn in future videos) Thanks for watching!
Hey Chris, nice video. Is the netting on the sides of your boat just the elastic truck bed or back of an SUV type material. That's a great idea storing stuff like that. I usually have a couple drybags and that would be perfect for those. Thanks!
Yes, those are similar bungee lined nets - got them on Amazon. They do work well for holding the dry bags in place. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Hello, I bought the 12V powerpack with the SeaMax pump. SeaMax Model #S6000Li Not sure if they are still available but the one I have works great. Thanks for watching!
Just subscribe to your channel, really enjoy your videos. My wife and I live in Central Florida, Lakeland, and I cannot wait for us to get a SIB. I’m thinking either Saturn, fishing boat line or the Amazon BRIZ boats cannot wait to be out, enjoying the water and camping and all the cool things that you can do with these boats.
Hello! Thanks for the nice comment! The one thing I would really pay attention to is the tube diameter and material thickness. Note: The Saturn tubes are smaller for sure. Also having a issue with getting her on plane - no issue with Bris. Thanks for watching!
@@ChristopherQuest FB365 boat tubes are 16.5". We do have larger tube diameters on larger boats. FB385 has 18" tube dia, and 14' and up boats have 20" diameter. Bris 12' boat has Tuber diameter: 17.7inch as per Amazon listing. 14' Bris has 20" dia. Keep in mind that larger tube dia, means heavier boat. So it is this or that. As far as putting boat on a plane, unless motor cavitates, tabs should help to get it on a plane, even if boat is overloaded.
@@inflatableboats Hello, This is a good point as a heavier boat would hinder what I am doing. I also plan to pull it behind my Motor Sailor and it is perfect for that. I like the nimble feel. It is just what I needed. Not too small, not too big and heavy. So many options with a boat like this. I will figure out the tab thing - I will contact if questions. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Hello, I will need to make some additional adjustments to the tabs. I had them initially set flat to match the hull precisely. Hard to get on plane, struggled. Tried a next position down, no help. I will be changing props and positioning to get her to work. I feel confident. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I found it on Amazon and also have on Aleko.com on their outdoors tab. Specific sizes seem to be hard to find and not always in stock for some reason. It's called the Aleko Cabin Cover I believe if you do a search. Lots of fun. Thanks for watching!
man, I LOVE this set up! I'm definitely gonna do the same thing. Do you have a gear list for this setup handy? Also where'd you get those white pants? looks super comfy and great for keeping the bugs off! I've subscribed. Love your vids.
Hello again Dave! Oh boy a list of all gear, I will have to work on that, not currently. I do have some stuff listed in the description. The pants are "No Boundaries" I think they came from TJ Max, they are comfy. Thanks for subscribing and the nice comments! It is appreciated. More to come
I’m thinking about getting a boat just like yours someone’s Gotta used one that he’s only had out one time two floors landing gear two pumps. My question for you is where did you get your top with the sides? Was that custom-made? I do a lot of river fishing. I’m from Iowa, do you think inflatable is better than a kayak for that more stable safer just your thoughts thanks
Hello furchaser, I have been asked a few times about this Aleko top. At one time you coul;d buy on Amazon or Alekoproducts, now it seems they are nowhere to be found. Just have to search Aleko Cabin Cover from time to time and hope they bring them back. Thaks for watching!
They are distributed by Aleko at Aleko.com, I have also seen them on Amazon. But seem to be hard to find sometimes. I believe they call it a cabin cover. (Aleko.com outdoors tab). I bet it would work for you. Thanks for watching!
@ChristopherQuest Yeah I called them and it seems they may be discontinued. From what i can find the only other places that offer these kinds of bimini tents are from Ukraine and Russia with crazy shipping prices. Not sure what to do now haha
So I've been to subscribe to your channel for about a year or so. I was thinking about using my inflatable boat to camp on some islands near me. And then I remembered the fort McRae underground bunker video. So I hadn't heard from you in a while I mean no notifications, and nothing on my feed.
