That was very cool. There is always something to learn in your videos. I like the handle application instructions. You prove that Difficult does not equal Impossible.
Hello again Dave! yep, those handles will make things much easier. I just hope soft sand doesn't cause too much issue. Thanks for the comment. - next video should be interesting!
Hello Brent! So cool to hear from Austrailia, I can't get enough of Austrailia video adventures on TH-cam. Thanks for the nice comment and thanks for watching! Next video should be good - see if this actually makes sense.
Hello Uncle Tater! Hey, thanks for the nice comment, I appreciate it. I have a good time just playing with different ideas. I just hope I can pull this boat through soft sand. lol, should be fun anyway. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I do have a video where I sleep on the water in a 14.1 Bris, It was very cool - and you are so right about safety - feels much safer on the water. Having fun with the setup, Thanks for watching!
That tent is slick. I took my Saturn camping on the Colorado River south of the Hoover Damn. The day began beautiful but then the wind picked up really bad and there were surprisingly few beachable areas to pitch a tent. I ended up sleeping on my cot outside and it wasn't really level. The tent on the boat would have been great although it was a bit warm out.
Hello Matthew, Sounds like an awesome trip! You are right thisd kind of setup would be cool on a raft adventure. I played with the idea of just the bimini with one of those mosquito nets they make for a full bed cover - throw that over the top. lol. Anyway thanks for watching! Keep adventuring!
Hello, Thanks for the nice comment and for watching! I have done some searching and they are not available right now. I bought on Amazon, but aleko.com at one time had them. There are other name brands out there. May have to do some searching. Thanks!
Hello, I have had several people ask about the boat tent bimini. I cannot find them either, this one was made by Aleko but they do not show up on the website anymore. I bought it from Amazon, hopefully they come back. It is a lot of fun. Thanks for watching!
Hello, The trim tabs I use on the FB365 are from Saturn. They are available on their website. I have the smart tabs from amazon on my 14.1 Bris. The smart tabs have a gas plunger that allows the tab to flatten out as you get speed. The saturn tabs are stationary. The gas plungers have a limited life span but work much much better than the longer saturn tabs. Just the truth. I bought the saturn tabs to assist with pulling the boat behind my Macgregor 26x and the addition does help eliminate the drag and it does help to get on plane for sure. Thanks for watching - hope that helps.
Hello, there was a time these wsere available on Amazon or Alekoproducts.com but I do not see them available currently. Should be more available at some point. Lots of fun! Thanks for watching!
Good point, the wheels and posts must be removed from the bracket when running the engine. It is a tight fit, luckily it is a quick release pin. I found strapping the wheels to the rear of the side tubes works great. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I bought the tent cover from Aleko at Aleko.com at their outdoor living tab you will see their boats and accessories. Sometimes they are in stock, but not always. Thanks for watching!
That is an awesome set up, thanks for sharing your process, well done! I just read through the comments, looks like you got the tent etc off the shelf. Did you end up making or modifying much, or just buy and bolt it on? Great bit of kit there.
Hello, I originally bought the bimini cabin for a 14.1' Bris inflatable, I have a couple videos of that. It also fits this Saturn - maybe a little loose. I did not modify anything - just added a couple tarp clamps to pull it tight. Check out the beach camp video too. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I bought mine a couple of years ago through Amazon, now I don't see them there. I also know they sell them at alekoproducts.com under the outdoor tab. But recently not available. May have to keep an eye out as I hope they will be available again. Thanks for watching!
Hello Motorhead! The handles are available on Amazon - here ia a link amzn.to/49HomXa I use HH-66 adhesive, nothing fancy but it works. - also on amazon. Consider a boat with larger side tubes - like 18". The longer boats have larger air chambers. Thanks for watching!
@@Motorhead-hm5jq Hello, just saw your ?. I think for me it's a bouyancy thing. I weigh 230 lbs and the larger tubes make the boat feel for substantial on the water. I also believe I get the boat on plane easier as it sits just a little higher in the water. Just my opinion, I am no expert. Thanks!
@@Motorhead-hm5jq I should add, that larger tubes means a heavier boat - if you plan to manual launch - smaller may be much better when it comes to weight.
I've done some searching as well. It seems there was a comment about an overseas mfg. that had a different style. I think the Aleko.com type like in the video will come back. Watch amazon, it seems like there is demand! Thanks for watching
Hello, I currently have a rope ran through each side of the bow transom fixtures creating a single loop step with a piece of hose on the rope - not the best. I am looking at other options too. Any suggestions? I have had minimal issues with the single rope step in the past on the Bris boat. Thanks for watching!
EXCELLENT video, I've been looking into Saturn inflatables. Thank you from Jamaica.
Hello! So cool you are in Jamaica, I am so jealous. I am having fun with this boat, I have a new video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching!
Bro I'm from Trinidad and i have the FB385, they're great !!!

Hello again, I am in the Pensacola area of the ICW. Check out Big Lagoon Park and the National Seashore, beautiful area. Thanks again for watching!

Hey Chris where can I find the bimni tent like you have? Awesome video...

Did you custom make this tent? Its so sick! Where can i get it if you bought it? Thanks

may i ask if after using, do your smart trim tabs add speed or any other advantage? didn't see a link to them?

also, without the tabs, I am a big guy and the boat really struggles to get on plane without tabs. I will always have tabs on my boat.
Where in the world did you get that folding camping top?
Hello, there was a time these wsere available on Amazon or Alekoproducts.com but I do not see them available currently. Should be more available at some point. Lots of fun! Thanks for watching!
did you have any problem with the wheels interfering with the outboard motor turning?

Just curious, why do recommend the larger one with 18" tubes? Thanks, I appreciate your input!

what did you do for a ladder?

@@ChristopherQuest i'm thinking of some way to convert the bow Motor Mount bracket into a ladder.
I was thinking you could add a custom bracket the runs along the side and attaches to both bench seats with a ladder running over the side from there.
