Auroras studio stuff are fantastic, but her live stuff are mindblowing! Check out Through the eyes of a child from Nidarosdomen concert if you want to see an artist that truly lives her songs!
It is like as if the frequency of her voice recalibrates the chaos within me, and brings order and calm once more. She is medicine. She is ancient. She is a wonder to me.
whenever I listen to aurora I have a dance party going on my mind and phisically when I am comfy around people. She is one of the few artists that pretty much every song makes me feel free of blocking emotions and no matter how many times I've listened to one of her songs, it almost always feels like the first time of how powerful they are to me
The version of this song she performs at the Haik concert is a lot of fun as well. This is one of my favorite songs of hers. Thank you for the reaction.
She is absolutly amaizing !!! Lately I have been listening to her last Album " What happend to the Heart?" - and no listen to her older stuff who is also fantastic !!! Love this too. Since I live in Bergen, her hometown, I occational see her danscing in the streets ❤❣ - she is a postive, female lighthouse. Thansk you for a lovely reaction !
Great reaction! Aurora always has thought-provoking lyrics, and it's interesting to hear your perspective as a therapist. It makes sense that you were wanting to dance, because Aurora has frequently used this song as a show-closer, and she typically uses high-energy/dancy songs as show-closers. Perhaps never better illustrated than the HAIK concert. Aurora once read that men have an abnormally high suicide rate compared to women, and she surmised that it's because men are taught to hide their emotions. As a result, she wrote "The River," which is about letting your emotions free and allowing yourself to cry. The music video is one of her best, IMO, and I think it would fit perfectly into what you're doing here (as I understand it).
It's interesting that no one has mentioned yet that the video exists in two versions. This version is the harmless one. The other version (if it still exists on YT) is harder and shows Aurora from an unexpected side. This then also gives the text the opportunity to be interpreted differently. I would recommend (privately or as a reaction) to watch the little documentary with Aurora "Nothing is Eternal", I think it would be exciting for you as an analyst. Well done 😉 Found it: Daydreamer original- th-cam.com/video/mQFTtI_HiFc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CeEzV19d8lCfZRw1
Nice reaction. Please delve more into Aurora's music. Her lyrics are thought provoking and reveal a wisdom far beyond her years. She is best experienced in live performances, but many of her videos like this one are great. I'd recommend these videos: The River Queendom Cure for Me Conflict of the Mind The Seed As far as live performances, anything from her Concert at Nidarosdomen Cathedral especially "Lucky" and "Through the Eyes of a Child". "It Happened Quiet" live at the Current "Little Boy in the Grass" Mahogany Sessions "Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1" from the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. That should be enough to get you started. 😄
She’s a real fairy, you should see And hear her first record when she was 15. A real natural talent and a totally free spirit. I think she’s neurodivergent, on some scale of the autistic spectrum, a real miracle of nature, incredibly funny and lovely. Good catch ❤️
@@staffankarlsson1428 look up a video on you tube -type in Aurora Feeling Good. Not sure if she was a "professional" but will show what I'm talking about. 🙂
She is different in so many ways. All her songs and every reinterpretation, different. She sees the world differently, hence the wonderfull lyrics. "Little boy in the Grass" (Mahogany version is best) - About her dealing with grief, she was close to a boy shot when she was 15. "Lucky" (Nidarosdomen concert is best) contemplation of suicide at 11 (?) "Through the eyes of a child" ( again Nidarosdomen). The human condition.
I think sober can also mean being more serious or having more clarity in a moment so i take that part (all i ever know is what i dream about when i am sober) as meaning the things she knows is real, things that she actually wants for her life maybe are the things she dreams of and wants when she's sober, in that clear state of mind. Idk if that made sense the way i said it lol
Where did you get those lyrics? That last passage was very wrong. Its "never turn away from love before the love you have is over". Thanks for the reaction. You should check out the Haik live concert version of this song.
Hi. :) Is that possible for you to react to something that no one else would recommend? I really would like to see and hear reaction to some of my favourite japanese songs, very emotional and deep. First is "Blinding Hope" by The Gazette, song released in 2021 as message to fans in pandemic times, song about depression and isolation, but there is hope. On their official TH-cam channel is music video and you can turn on english subs there, song is mostly in japanese, so there subs will ne helpful. Second song is "Kowarete Iku Sekai" (Broken world) by band Girugämesh, song about how people are destroing other people and mother Earth, this song squeezing my heart every time when I'm listen to it... You can fing on TH-cam music video with english subs by fan (song is fully in japanese), really good translation. And third song is "Paradox 5" by band D'espairsRay, song this is from perspective of person whose beloved died, but it's not about how this person suffering, it's about his thoughts about his beloved journey to another life. Unfortunately this song don't have any music video, but you can find audio uploaded on TH-cam, also you can find in internet great english translation of lyrics. I hope it's possible for you to react to these three songs, I would be really grateful. :)

😊👍
Aurora was a dancer before she was a singer 😊
Not professionally but she took lessons for ten years.

Just think Aurora want to keep her music to her . I can't imagine a world with out Aurora her help me during C19 lock down
For Aurora's full uncut, uncensored art video for this song, as it was originally intended : th-cam.com/video/mQFTtI_HiFc/w-d-xo.html
i love Aurora, her music is always amazing, and with a good message.
A song you could check out is Quarter Life by Tomorrow x Together (TXT).
"never turn away from love before the love you have is over", the lyrics you were reading are incorrect.
You could phrase it nicer, she probably just misheard.

Tension integrity ! Defining aurora is as useless as asking where the center of infinity is. Just enjoy !

I think you had wrong lyrics. The last line was "never turn away from love before the love you have is over"

Before the love you have is over , not sober ,dont take notice of printed lyrics they're often wrong
