    Being a professional detailer, I have to admit I was very skeptical when I saw this product on the shelf, but I bought it to test on my 2019 Ford Ranger and applied my base layer, waited almost 2 weeks and almost 1,000 miles to wash my truck, went through my local touchless car wash and it worked phenomenal, water beading was Amazing! Applied my top up layer, and will continue to do so, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. Very good for the average consumer. I'm always looking for products I can recommend to my clients for those times I'm not there to detail their vehicle, And this is one of those products.

    It's a great product If you use it with care, it makes metallic or pearl effect paint really pop, spray on a couple of squirts per panel after your car is washed and while the car is still wet, then dry off with a micro fibre, don't power wash off the product, end results won't be as good and you'l still going to have to dry the car anyway! but it does have to be said, it should be half the price.

    Haven’t used the product yet, to be honest I’m more interested in how many miles the car has done and how many times has it been washed in those 3-4 months since the application. That’s a better representation of how durable the product is. 👌

      well said mate? Also how many times were areas of concern like just behind the wheels & front bar & rear bar as well, i know this much, i sprayed the iron remover just behind the wheels and front bar to see just how much iron fallout was on my car and there was no break dust which stuck to my cars surface, i put the blue meguiars SIO2 spray product on dry paint and that was over 2 years ago and also used the spray on SIO2 Detailer once a month, so buying the iron remover or wheel cleaner which reacts with iron like brake dust only on my wheels and it works making it so much easier to clean the wheels etc?

    One thing you didn’t mention is how easy it is to wash the car after the wax has been used. The sponge just glides over the paintwork. Well n truly tested it this week! I have to park in a working quarry and it’s been horrendous wing blowing up dust with showery rain and it STILL beaded. Wish I’d realised how easy these products are compared to the old days of serious elbow grease. Don’t think my car needed another coat but did it regardless.

      How often do u apply it? Every wash???

    • @HondaFife
      @HondaFife 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did reapply the following week but no way it needed it. The effect is just a bit addictive lol. However I left it last week and simply hosed off the dust and same again yesterday and still beading like I’d just applied it. Amazing stuff.

    Its crap I got about 2 weeks and it left shitty water Mark's on my car. I now use a quartz product spray on rinse of just the same. Almost half the price and last used it 9 weeks ago still works now as it did when 1st put on

    A few youtubers have shown applying it to dry paintwork - and that this provides a much more resistant application than the directed one. Is there a downside to applying like this?

    The beading still isn’t great. Much better on a paste wax. I’ve got EZ Car Care hybrid ceramic paste wax and it’s way more durable and beads way better!

    • @c6z061

      The beading is phenomenal after the initial application(buff with MF towel) with HCW. However, when "refreshing" with the spray and rise method, it's not effective at all with this product. Not even sure why they recomend it. If you want a true spray and rinse, go with Hydro2 or Wetcoat.

    Lasts about 2 weeks and over £20 a bottle. Waste of money. Check out the reviews on turtle wax sealent. So much better and only £6 a bottle. Dont like to slate products but had to at their prices. Rip off.

    • @milkmancow5

      @@gerardsamson9843 It's important to spray it to a wet panel. You won't damage the paint spraying to a dry panel but the product is designed to be sprayed on wet.

    Total BS, what about just behind the wheels, just how much swirls are there and also the rear bumper and the front end, bugs etc, i bet they used some polish fist to make it look in those areas like new and then say wow look how much it protected the paint and still beads water, its not the beading of water its what we want to see if theres any swirls due to washing the car over 6 months and if you had to remove any swirl marks after application or washing because no SIO2 products will stop any swirls full stop including spray and wipe or pro series straight SIO2 ceramic products?
