I've heard that Toyota and nissan 300zx pistons can be used for turbo. They also have a diameter of 87mm and a connecting rod finger like the es9j4. Is it possible to find used sports camshafts for this engine?
I want a Peugeot 406 so badly. The only thing I want to do is convert it to rwd as well as making it about 400hp. Anyone had a shot at a rwd conversion for this?

Welding and wiring harness took the most time. -Stock internals -Autronic sm3 ecu -850cc injectors -Walbro 450lph fuel pump -Fuel pressure regulator -Techedge wideband -Intercooler -helix clutch -bypass valve -etc

Ristomatti Kykkänen vanhakoriset 406 ovat euro 2 luokiteltuja, eli ahtaminen onnistuu muutoskatsastuksella, kunhan on tarvittavat todistukset. Suunnitelmat ovat nyt muuttuneet tämän auton osalta, eikä tätä ole tarkoitus katsastaa enää.
Hi nice project. I have a coupe with the same engine and I'm considering doing the same. The weak point in this power train is the gearbox. Even if I think you have mode like 300-350hp, the transmission will not handle it for long. How did it stand ?
I didn't seen in this video, that he made some actions with cylinders volume. It's very important to do, because compression ratio in cylinders should be much bigger for turbo, otherwise engine will die soon.

I didnt even see the reply, my bad...Well my plans are to upgrade the 2.7HDi of the 407sw to a respectable figure (of HP) but I've heard that the camshaft or other parts of the engine does not handle the power well, does also the transmissiom in these handle a bit more power? (Is ~250 HP safe for it?) Thanks in advance

330hp is safe, at 350hp the pistons start to break

@@bobskywalker8662 That's not true. E85 is much better than a regular 98 fuel. With 98 fuel you could not take much more than 300hp safely.

No need to worry about stock gearbox, its the last thing that will explode (have seen stock manual gearboxes take beating up to 550hp and 500nm )
