This is the paint I want to start using instead of rattle can and especially the colored clear and chrome colors. Thanks for sharing it’s appreciated bud
Tamiya does make rattle cans of the clear colors but they are a little weak. The red comes out more pinkish than the jar version of course you have less control over the amount of paint that comes out compared to putting them thru and airbrush.
Are these paints acrylic? I got my self an airbrush kit and went to my local hobby shop today, the shop owner suggested I use Tamiya acrylic paints in little bottles for airbrush, I got a silver and a clear color and a tamiya surface primer rattle can, do these acrylics look good and dry hard like enamel paint and how does the tamiya clear paint look for the clear coat? Anyone know anything about this?
Im not sure about the difference I just always use the suggested thinner for the paint I'm using and have never had an issue and I use alclad clears had good results with them or 2k automotive clear thanks for watching
This green on chrome WTFFFFFFF, all amazing. I tried to listen carefully, but maybe I missed it, or its in some other of Your vids, which for sure I will watch, but would like to ask - what kind of those chrome primers are used? Could You link them or sth? Afterwards what kind of lacquer do You protect them? I have mr hobby clear coat and wondering if this will be fine. Anyway awesome job man, chapeu bas and greetings from Poland!
I use different base chrome but molotow Chrome is one of the best I buy the refills and put in my airbrush or I sometimes use alclad chrome thats go's over the alclad gloss black I do have videos on both chrome paints and I use 2k clear it's a two part automotive clear I really like the way it goes on and you know it will last plus it's a little more at first but will last forever unless you start clearing other shit just because you can hope that helps
@@thehotwheelshunter Thank U very much for reply! One More question is - for molotov, do You thin it some way? Or just directly to airbrush? Alclad in Poland is impossible to buy, and shipping from USA is improfitable, so molotov is the only choice for me.
@@aleksanderzmurkiewicz918 I thin the Molotow with Mr Hobby Leveling Thinner and it works great. It also brings out the shine in the chrome really nicely. Good luck with your painting projects.😊

These paint experiments, are so cool, the possibility's are endless. . . . LIke, to see a copper base, under green....
The blue is my absolute my favorite out of the bunch. I believe using a pearl white for a base coat might make the orange and the yellow paints pop.
I think your right all have to give it a try
The finish product looks amazing. Can I ask how many 1/64 models can you paint with one Tamiya 10ml paint? Thx
