Tim is the man in my opinion. Just got our ATS rear trailing arms installed and we love the feel of the car with no ill effect to the Cadillac ride quality. Thanks ZZP!!
Good sale there! Lol I went to your site after watching this and seen the Cobalt rear sway bar on sale so I bought it! I'm gonna do a lot of autocross this year and this will nicely pair up with my zzp lowering springs. now just gotta wait for the front one to be on a sale or special. Thanks guys!
@@trevorplagg7094 she's installed. Very easy to do. Since it was onsale i ordered and paid for another one for my good friend on his 09 FBO E47 tuned (by Matt) Balt.
Great idea! You'll be able to judge better what your set up needs after the main suspension is set up. I assume you mean your strut and spring set up? But, 9 times out of 10 on a ion chassis you'll want a rear bar. The ZZP rear sway bar is a great place to start. You'll be much happier with your corner feel. -Trev, ZZP
Depends on the chassis. Older chassis are known to get torsional twist in the front frame when entering a corner. Newer platforms don't benefit as much, as chassis design has come so far in the last decade. Most cars are very rigid in this area from factory. But, it doesn't add much weight, and gives you an added bonus of a modified look in your engine bay. -Trev, ZZP
Yep! We have a front and rear for you. Have a look: Front: zzperformance.com/collections/3800/products/zzp-front-sway-bar Rear: zzperformance.com/collections/3800/products/zzp-rear-sway-bar -Trev, ZZP
Hey guys! I own an 05 Monte Carlo SS supercharger. Please put up video's about it! Don't think I've ever seen any. This should go with out saying. A 2 door always out trumps some 4 door performance car! Always!!!!!
While this does add a slight increase in flex to the overall design, we tested this to be more than adequate for any street car. They feel great, and we have not had any issues with them breaking or wear. We actually tested this and run it on many street builds, as it flex is perfect for driving hard, and going over your usual pot holes, speed bumps, uneven road, etc. It also allows our ZZP bar to come in at one of the cheapest in the market, so again perfect for any mild street driven / weekend warrior build. There is obviously options to go further out there, as you mentioned, if the said car is a dedicated comp car, or more aggressive track approach. -Trev, ZZP
HUGE thanks to you guys at zzp for sending out support very much appreciated keep up with the good customer service 👍👍
It's good to see Tim in the chair. Unlimited amounts of knowledge and information.
Who disliked this?! I run at road America with a cobalt and this made perfect sense. Great info!

When you upgrade to bigger or racing tires for better grip, a sway bar will come handy to keep the tires leveled and prevent understeer.
“Different Braking Styles”
Trail Braking I think the main one he was referring to when he said that.
Top 5 mods for a 3800 that isnt intake, exhaust, or suspension?

Just keep it stock, the transmissions are ancient relics at this point.
Would be neat if you guys discussed design and how your bars with tabs welded on are inferior to almost everything else on the market
