I love my dragon scale! Can’t find a silver dragon anywhere in Cape Town though. Any idea where I can find one ?

Hello! I saw some at Woolworths not too long ago, but then the next day they were gone :( Dont know where else at the moment you can find one.

@@PlantBasicsI finally got a silver dragon and it's doing well. But guess what? My dragon scale is now producing flowers! It looks weird though.

If roots are white and mushy, the leaves are yellowing and wilting, does that also mean root rot?

Hey, generally root rot shows up as brown/black mushy roots and wilting leaves. It could be the early signs of root rot, is your potting medium very moist?

@@PlantBasics yup i overwatered. If it is white and mushy that’s ok no need to get rid of the roots?

@@irenesim8609 so the fact that its mushy is a problem because it means the root structures are breaking down, I would cut off the worst areas and spray with hydrogen peroxide - I hope this helps.

@@PlantBasics thanks. I did already cut them off but feared it was the wrong decision :/

@@irenesim8609 Alocasias grow from a tuber so all hope is not lost, your plant might recover so don't give up :)

my plant has yellow spots on it and idk what to do

Hey sorry for the late reply, might also gets that from time to time, apparently it is due to incorrect watering, similar to the red blotching fiddle leaf figs get when they go from under watered to very moist, the plant ends up taking in too much water too fast. I hope this helps.
