I lost my Mom (my best friend in all of life) a year and a half ago and a friend sent me this song shortly after her passing. I bawl just as much today hearing it. But...I'd never seen this video and it was so beautiful that Ed put his home videos of himself and his Mom (whom he lost during COVID too) in it.

I know this song aint exactly new, but this is the era of Ed Sheeran people say is not good anymore. they hear the hit single of the album and dont hear masterpieces like this, the man can still write such deep and powerful music. what a talent, seems like a cool dude too.

Some words I read one time suits the moment..."and the world was diminished with this loss".
This song brings the tears down. It fit my mom and Grandma. they were 59, and I was 37. It destroyed me it happened Mother's Day May 11th, 2003. The year after my wedding (May 19,2002) . And 2 years, just before Christmas, my grandmother left us. Just before Christmas. It's been 20 years, but it still feels like yesterday. Mother's Day 2003. A year after my wedding . And 1 year before my grandmother left us just before Christmas. Christmas 2001 grandma died, May 19,2002 got married, May 28th my husband deployed overseas,May 11th,2003, my mom died. Very busy 18 months.
