Bought a 5-pack of the exact same locks but their factory configuration does not allow the key to be removed from the unlocked position. That means two keys will be required to unlock every compartment door - and the keys will have to be left in the whole time the door is unlocked! Q&A comments on other TH-cam contributor's videos all say the locks can be reconfigured to allow removal - but no one explains how? Do you (or anyone else) know?

I bought locks before these with the exact same problem. The lock gave must have two notches spaced 90° apart. Then, the pieces on the inside can be switched around to allow for lock/unlock removal of the key. Play with configuring the pieces on the inside of you have two notches on the face. I could see if I can do a short video explaining and showing it better if you'd like.

Do not put Propane Tanks in an enclosed, non ventilated compartment. Do not put Batteries where your Propane Tanks are stored.

That's how the trailer was designed, with the propane tanks and batteries both in the front compartment. And the front compartment is open to the bottom side. It is very well ventilated.
