Oh man… that type of material can be tricky! John happens to be so patient and go slow. The results speak for themselves too. Thanks for watching! John and Caroline ☘️
Wow! Thanks Barry. 😃 Let us know if you decide to try them out. Take your time on the cuts and you will be good. John added the two under the front bay yesterday and it went well also. Thanks for watching! John and Caroline ☘️
Really good video. You make it look too easy.. I get real nervous when cutting/drilling into the RV.. but you did a great job show how to get it done. Love this solution. Thanks for sharing.. and yeah we enjoy these kind of videos!! Keep growing Brother!
Thanks Jerry! Now… it is “easy” but take your time doing the cuts… or just drive your rig to us and will help you out. 😂 Now, where is that bourbon? 🥃🥃 Cheers! John ☘️

Have you ever had a Propane Door open while driving? We have... so we have added the QWork Compression Latch on our Propane Doors. And they look great! Let us know what you think. (Thanks Frank! 😂) John and Caroline ☘
Great video! Live the upgrade to the locks. I like the new locks compared to the other ones. Never liked those at all. How are they holding up? Great job John! Looks good to me. Thank you for doing this video! Have a great weekend and safe travels.
Good morning Sherri! I agree.. the black latches look so much better. Now, hopefully they never open driving down the road. 😂 Our old ones came open while we were heading down I-40 when a friend was following us and they had us pull over... I now check them EVERY time we travel. We will let you know if we have issues with these new ones. We travel tomorrow. 👍😎 Enjoy your weekend. John and Caroline ☘️
Looks like a nice solution, do any of them have locks, or did you lose that function on the other doors. I realize LP access is not locked, but others are.
Hello! Good question about the locking latches. John did not want another key for opening doors so we went with non-locking. The front bay already had a lock so we only replaced the two side latches. Being on the road for three years and we have been fortunate to not have any theft or access to our propane tanks. I hope this helps. Here is the possible locking set from Amazon but know we did not try these out: amzn.to/44lL70O Thanks for watching! John and Caroline ☘️
Hello Steve. We installed the NON- locking latch. There is an available LOCKING latch on Amazon for a set 4 = just over $36.00. Our front bay has a lock so we didn't need it there. The propane doors did not have locks originally. amzn.to/3WjVdNG Let us know if you decide to install and how it goes. Thanks for watching! John and Caroline ☘
Ha! That could be said about so many items placed on these RVs. 😂 We do often find ourselves repairing or "upgrading." Thanks for watching! John and Caroline ☘️
solid video. most people wouldn't want to hand cut it. I'm glad to see you took the time to do it right so nothing got broken. Take care!

@@TheGrandShamrockTour looks factory. Can't get any better than that right?
John and Caroline: You guys are great! This is such good information!
Wow! Thanks so much! John has a great way of explaining how to do things and it keeps Caroline away from the tools! 😂 Thanks for commenting. J & C ☘
Really clever idea using hand tools. Very thorough explanation of this upgrade. - Michelle
Thanks Michelle! So glad to have John as the guy with the tools! He has the patience and a steady hand. 😀

Good job. Well done instructions and nice style.
Thank you! We found this upgrade to be a nice addition to our RV. Glad you liked it!

Absolutely. If you take your time it works well. 😅

Oh good so glad you had a friend with you when that door came open. Glad it is fixed.

I bought one of these to see how it felt and could see light shining through the sides. Do you have any concerns about moisture/water getting through?
Hello! We used silicone on the gasket service. We did not have any water come through. Tight seals on all latches.
We hope this helps.

@@TheGrandShamrockTour Thank you
Why does your map in the background have a blank spot where North Dakota should be? 😂😂
Ha! 😂
You know we could have rode those GS motorcycles or followed you and G.
Was it worth it? If you say “yes” then I will talk John into visiting. 🤣
Hello, this is North Dakota…please cease and desist from harassing The Grand Shamrock Tour as they are welcome anytime 😂🤣😂☘️
Geesh $30 for 8 and I am sure RV manufactures buy in BULK would get them for even less. Why can't they just make things better.
