It says given to mother Oct 1970 by a Toledo artist.. scene of Meramec River and artist signature Peter Milley. Its very beautiful. Love the gold frame. especially with the ittle brass lamp. Everything is sweet and simple.

I’m guessing that thrifted art piece is of Meramec River in Missouri. The artist was Ted Planter from Toledo OH who passed away in 2010. Who ever artist is it’s beautiful art work! Take care.❤

Where are your salt and pepper shakers from. I love them
Thanks so much! Those gold S&P shakers on my tray were thrifted and were originally a silver color. I sprayed them with a gold metallic spray paint a few years back.
Where are the green plates from?
They are Hearth and Hand from Target. I found them in their after Christmas clearance but they usually bring out these dark tones when fall and winter draw near.
