I’m liking our spring here in SoCal, ‘May gray’ with cool cloudy mornings, nice sunny afternoons and cool evenings. Summer is my least favorite season so I decorate in patriotic 🇺🇸 decor to make the hot months tolerable. 😆 🥵I have similar green dishes I bought at Home Goods recently, they’re in my hutch right now but I’ll be moving them to my table this week. Always enjoy your videos.

Love your home and how you decorated. I have a smaller home and kids are grown. We hardly ever use our table anymore. I have been wanting to remove our round table and extend living room area into dining area. Remove the table!

Love the simple , fresh spring palette. At 2:54 there is a little wood and marble mortar and pestle.. do you have a link for that? Framed art and herbs in aged terracotta give such a cozy, cottage feel. I love that you left some negative space on the kitchen counters. So many people over decorate, that you can't appreciate the things they do have. As a first time viewer , I am so impressed with your use of textures, balance, color , contrast and visual weight to each space. The touches of the soft yellow is really pretty.

The marble mortar and pestle was a Home Goods purchase from spring of 2023 and I have not seen that exact item in store for a while however Home Goods does have some great options that are similar from time to time. Did you ever think about spray painting your gold brackets for your shelves black to match your black lamp on the wall. Just a thought..
I actually have thought about that....I go back and forth with that idea. I'm actually considering changing the black on the lamp to a more antique brass look

Looks great, but what's the purpose of a dish towel in a basket of books, or a dish towel on a mantal?
Mainly for texture, I find that adding fabrics helps soften the lines of areas that tend to be 'hard' if that makes sense. It creates a cozier space for the decor. It's not a functional placement, your instinct on that is correct.
Where did you purchase your topiary on your front porch
That was a thrift find, I think Michael's has them but not sure about the spiral looking ones
