- In this tutorial we'll paint a Warhammer 40k Imperial Knight in about 4 hours, using a very limited paint selection, some fun kitbashing, a bit of beginner 3d printing, and a good dose of problem solving.

"This Imperial, or not so Imperial, Knight." You know, given the shattered aquila and the stonking big Nurgle symbols, I'm not sure this lad's loyalties are as ambiguous as you and Penny suggest!
This channel is totally responsible for reigniting my love of the hobby. There's just something so achievable about how you breakdown these videos that drew me back into painting and I honestly can't thank you guys enough! Another great video, love the direction this channel is moving in!
Okay, i don't necessarily think anyone will buy the "Maybe loyalist, maybe not" when it's covered head to toe in icons of nurgle. But if you've put a total of 7 icons i will forgive you
3D printing 2% of a model? GW is gonna sue you to Ultramar for that
Man could've went and bought a chaos knight, but who ever liked that
ah grandfather would be so proud
Would have painted the hydraulic cylinders silver, because dirt is constantly shoved away along their surfaces. The dirt builds up on the edges of the capsule of the cylinders.
Nice! I'm saving a giant pile of 3d printed 'trusses' myself. The decal on the messed-up banner looks great.
I think that it would be awesome to take an imperial knight and make a diorama that has it stuck in something like a landslide and it has a massive hole somewhere in it like it had been shot by some big gun, and for whatever reason the knight was just left there, to rot, forever.
You could really elevate this a lot by just picking out some trim in a dark bronze. It's a little too uniformly white, probably another thirty minutes of work would make a fairly large difference.
“ it’s not bad modeling it’s weathering”
That "using the 3d-printed part supports for basing" idea is fantastic!
Dangly Crotch Flag is the name of my punk cover band.
Is it weird that this huge model being painted like this has inspired me to finally tackle my first dreadnought?
It took you only FOUR HOURS to paint this behemoth?! It takes me a whole evening to get a 1/3 of a single Skitarii done.
Im at a loss, this model is absolutely incredible! And I’m so glad you did a model the traditional way, airbrushes are not available for everyone and this really motivates me to paint bigger models!
Dark Mechanicus:
The dry brushing metallic over black really made my T’au stealth suits look way cooler. Thanks for the great tip!
Yeah Yeah ... Big kit fun with weathering and grime .. Very COOL ... You guys are Great 😁
