- Hey everyone! Today we're taking a look at an uncommon Mbuna from the African rift lake of Malawi, the Labidochromis caeruleus Lundo Island. A.k.a. the ZEBRA LAB. This fish is not one you'll easily find in fish stores, but I promise you that you've seen this species before. But when you've seen it, it was most likely YELLOW. Follow along as we discuss what that means. Thanks for watching!

I got one my pride and joy been trying to breed him with lab females i thought he was a pearlmutt hybrid thanks for the info
I’ve had breeding tanks of the Yellow, and I’ve seen the White advertised but the Blue was a surprise.
I would have supposed they were Pseudotropheus or whatever Genus they’ve become.
Love 'em! Hope to keep them one day.
Yea they're awesome fish!
And I thought the white version was hard enough to get hold of...
I'd have more luck spotting a unicorn than spotting the blue variety of these labs!
Ha. Yea they're fairly hard to find, but some specialist African sellers carry them occasionally.
