I enjoyed this video, and you have some great looking fish. I purchased a Mori Blue Dolphin very small and I'm growing it up before putting in the big tank. He/She was probably 1.75" when I got it and now its probably 2.5". Its starting to get very pretty right now. I'm curious as to what happens to the eggs/fry that the females are holding. I just got back into the hobby early this year after a 20 year break, and purchased the bulk of my fish online from a couple of good companies. One of those companies mistakenly sent me a Female Blue Dragon Blood instead of a male and she spawned with my male Regal Blue Peacock, so I've now got 19 fry in a fluval breeder box on the back of my smaller quarantine/grow out tank. I had to strip the eggs from her and hatched them in an egg tumbler and then moved to the breeder box once the yolk sacks were absorbed. I've set up a 10 gallon tank that I'm cycling right now and plan to put the fry in there once the tank is fully cycled. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the fry once they outgrown the 10 gallon.

Thanks! And yea sounds like you have some decisions to make with those fry. Since it's already a known hybrid (dragon blood) before even breeding with the Regal, you could sell or donate them to someone else. Or buy another tank and watch what they turn out like when grown. :) Best wishes.

I had my female mirrorballs out in the sun the other day.I know they aren't as bright as the Boyz but the blue sheen she had on the flanks was amazing. You just can't get that from a man made light.

I really love your hardscapes! I'm looking to change mine up a bit, what types of rock do you use/recommend?

Thanks! I don't know the names of most of my rock. I buy them from landscape supply yards. One is Pennsylvania Fieldstone, one is a type of granite, and some are man-made retention rocks.

Totally! The yellow fish in particular weren't captured very well in this footage for some reason. But they're all so much prettier in person.
