Thanks guys❤ You did that treacherous walk for all of us! The cheese shop is definitely worth a visit, but the gorge hike is for heartier souls. Thanks for showing us😊😊😊
Just down the road from me, well, when I say that, it is a few miles, as I am in Shepton Mallet, just over 4 miles from Wells, so not quite, just down the road, but it isn't too far, 28 mins, 13 miles 😉 😂. Blimey, I wouldn't pay that much either, definitely overpriced. Nice to see you down in Somerset x ❤
Hi guys, being serious lovers of cheese, seeing all those tasty looking stilton AND cheddar cheeses really turned on our taste juices. Will have to hunt down a supplier here in Oz for a piece stilton Christmas cheer! The gorge and surrounds were wonderful.
We have kept the cave aged cheese we bought for Christmas. Having it sitting in the fridge has been tempting but we will make it through to Christmas!! 🎅
Usually I am able to see your latest videos in the very early hours of Sunday morning here in Australia, as I rarely sleep and am often wide awake, sitting at my computer from around one am. This time I missed this episode, but at lunch whilst watching on the smart TV there you were. Another wonderful video of an amazing limestone gorge, and scenery not at all spoiled by your dreary, damp weather. Great seeing will enjoying the walk while narrating.
We've been there. We enjoyed our stay at cheddar gorge . Scary wild goat. Take care and be safe. Amazing view at 12:52. Foggy there. I bet you are. Here's more ice...and ice...
Another amazing gorgeous area of England. If I lived there I would have to have a campervan as I would be visiting many places that you show us. Thank you and take care =-).
The fog made it just right for the season - a gorgeous autumn walk. MMM that shop made me hungry ! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Glad you did the walking and we could sit back and watch it all from our easy chair.
Great tour guys, the walk was tricky, glad you both got down safely. Would have loved to visit that cheese shop and I wouldn’t have been able to walk past the Xmas shop. 🎄🎅🧑🎄🎁Lovely village.
I really enjoyed the drive out and glad you added that, as it gave us a more detailed look. It appears walking the road "path" is an adventure all of it's own! The town itself was charming, loved all the water features.
Yes the road path appears to take even longer than our over the top walk. When I was editing the video I thought goodness that took ages to get up to the point we turned over the road and back.
Thank you so much for the support. It is really kind of you. 😊 the area is very interesting and beautiful. We were unluckily with the weather a few days before the weathermen said it was going to be sunny and so we booked last minute. Sadly it was not the case.
Here in Liverpool had lots of almost wall to wall blue skies and glorious sunrise and sunsets. One rather frosty night Been camping in 1970s. At Froglands. Dislike when natural landscapes become too touristy and monetised. Love area and Cheddar Cheese. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for sharing and bringing back a lot of memories we have of the week we had in Cheddar Gorge. We started at Jacobs Ladder and did the caves etc.
One more splendid video ❤ rivers, cliff, cheese & goats were so interesting along with your awesome narration as always.. the walkway looks slippery in some places, hope you both made a good walk though 😊 if I were u I would definitely fall at some place, by and by I enjoyed watching 😀👍
Another amazing video thank you. Another one of my favourite places I last went in 2009. Hoping to make it there next year. You both deserved a medal getting around the walk.
Thank you for showing me the walk and the tower view. They were on my bucket list but l’m out of time now so l’m grateful for your video. I was sorry to have missed out but this opportunity has been satisfying. ❤️🇦🇺
Just so you know I am paying attention, the camera does not seem to be one of your usual high quality. A bit sad, but not off-putting. Lovely scenery. Thanks so much.
lovely video, I visited with my boyfriend in late 90's and really was charmed by the gorge cliffs, river through the town and stunning caves, it was £6 into caves and I think free to use Jacobs ladder. I woiuld love to visit again soon >
Thank you! I was planning to visit Cheddar Gorge with my husband but now I know the walk is way beyond his walking abilities. But we still will go! Just stick to the village and a drive-through I guess ;)
Thank you both for sharing your holidays with us. It brings joy to my heart to see such wonderful places. You were very brave doing that last walk. Well done. Merry Christmas.
Goodness gracious, that was a tedious scary climb. Being partially handicapped now after a bad broken leg and having to walk with a cane, I was hoping you both got up and back safely. Hope you enjoyed a couple pints of good ale and a warming meal afterward. Lol. You both deserved it. Glad you treated yourselves to the cheese.
Hi guys I've just discovered you. I am from Cheddar, where you were walking up the gorge my nephew unfortunately took his own life up there there should be a shrime for him I was wandering if you spotted anything there. The blank space next to the carpark when you came out from Jacob's ladder once stood The cox's Mill Hotel which has now been demonstrated and the shop next to Tuckers fish and chip shop is currently in the process of being demonstrated. I used to live in Axbridge up west street and work in Wells.
Been going there since the 80s , my girls drive there now, shameful the hotel on the river was torn down it was ment to be restored. The bones discovered had that DNA test done and it turned out to be a relation to a male teacher at the school there.. if you go back , i recommend you try pot holing in the caves, it's an adventure you'll never forget. As you drove out past the coach car park, I climbed the gorge face, 25mins to get up it, 3hrs to climb down lol slippery for shore😂.
Coming down over slippery rocky paths is always (surprisingly) tougher than climbing up. You intrepid young fellahs have never thought of packing a Rogallo-wing Paraglider to make the descents a bit safer? 🤔😜😁

Thanks.guys.. Since I emigrated i have kind of forgotten about the home country.
A lot of people have forgotten Great Britain and it's treasures. 🇬🇧♥️
Good stuff
Thanks for the visit
Thanks guys❤ You did that treacherous walk for all of us! The cheese shop is definitely worth a visit, but the gorge hike is for heartier souls. Thanks for showing us😊😊😊

That is marvelous scenery. (Watching from New Zealand)
Great trip. Thanks for awesome scenery and great camera work as usual
Interesting history. Cheese ageing to the feral goats. Love all your videos. Blessings Simon & Will ~from East Tennessee.
I am glad you were brave enough to do the walk so i did not have to. Great job.
So glad you guys took that steep walk, so we don't have to. I'm exhausted just watching you. 😉
Thanks for taking us along on your walk. We watch from New York State and so enjoy your channel, as we don’t visit the UK as often as we’d like.
Just down the road from me, well, when I say that, it is a few miles, as I am in Shepton Mallet, just over 4 miles from Wells, so not quite, just down the road, but it isn't too far, 28 mins, 13 miles 😉 😂.

I don't think I could take on that hike! Arkansas has a lot of hiking trails here. Enjoyed the video as always! Love y'all❤
That was a dramatic view at the top of the gorge. Quite a hike. Glad you did it for us. Not my cup of tea. Lovely village and river though. Thanks❤

Charging that much for a walk seems a bit mean spirited of them. Spectacular place. I visited as a child and still remember it some 45 years later.
😂😂😂 sunshine when back to work😂😂😂 it's the same wherever we are 🤷😂😂 I love your vídeos, guys! Thank you for this long walk.❤
Trudny teren do pieszych wycieczek. Widoki wspaniałe. Dziękuję.❤👍🥰
After doing that rocky, muddy, uphill climb, I think you two deserved a whole wheel of cheddar! 🧀 🐐
Haha we have saved our small one for Christmas! 🎅
I will remember this the next time I eat cheddar, which is nearly daily (!); thanks so much for this awesome trip.😊
We've been there. We enjoyed our stay at cheddar gorge . Scary wild goat. Take care and be safe. Amazing view at 12:52. Foggy there. I bet you are. Here's more ice...and ice...
Phew, I don’t think I could do the hill walk nowadays, I can cope with disused train lines now.😅but thanks for taking me with you both.❤
Another amazing gorgeous area of England. If I lived there I would have to have a campervan as I would be visiting many places that you show us. Thank you and take care =-).

The hike walk was pretty treacherous! Easy to turn an ankle stepping the wrong way. Glad you made it safely!!😅
Great tour guys, the walk was tricky, glad you both got down safely. Would have loved to visit that cheese shop and I wouldn’t have been able to walk past the Xmas shop. 🎄🎅🧑🎄🎁Lovely village.
That walk around the gorge was no joke-well done! Thanks for the wonderful views and scenes of the very cute goats. This is another wonderful video.

Hi, you are real sportsmen! Thank you for wonderful sights!
Always enjoy your adventures ❤
Thanks! Interesting topography! Had no idea that such a dramatic countryside existed in that area. Must visit, but in nicer weather. Well done🎉
Thank you so much for the support. It is really kind of you. 😊 the area is very interesting and beautiful. We were unluckily with the weather a few days before the weathermen said it was going to be sunny and so we booked last minute. Sadly it was not the case.

Thank you for sharing and bringing back a lot of memories we have of the week we had in Cheddar Gorge. We started at Jacobs Ladder and did the caves etc.
I saw a murder mystery that took place in one of the cheese caves. That was more interesting than the murder. 😂Kudos to you for the uphill walk!
One more splendid video ❤ rivers, cliff, cheese & goats were so interesting along with your awesome narration as always.. the walkway looks slippery in some places, hope you both made a good walk though 😊 if I were u I would definitely fall at some place, by and by I enjoyed watching 😀👍
Beautiful! area. Disappointed that you opted out of the caves though.
Safe travels.
Thank you for video.
You are welcome
Another amazing video thank you. Another one of my favourite places I last went in 2009. Hoping to make it there next year. You both deserved a medal getting around the walk.
It was a very enjoyable walk just a little treacherous with the slippery rocks.
Loved cycling up that gorge and then freewheeling all the way back down, though i would probably E-bike it now
From the sound of your breathing Simon that was a quite a cardio workout.
Thank you for showing me the walk and the tower view. They were on my bucket list but l’m out of time now so l’m grateful for your video. I was sorry to have missed out but this opportunity has been satisfying. ❤️🇦🇺
Glad we could share our trip with you 😊

It was quite a hike but well worth it. A most enjoyable day.
Just so you know I am paying attention, the camera does not seem to be one of your usual high quality. A bit sad, but not off-putting. Lovely scenery. Thanks so much.

Очень красиво ! Привет из Петербурга
Thank you❤
We did Cheddar Gorge village a few years ago, its very quaint. However, we did the caves at nearby 'Wookey Hole'. Lovely part of the country.
How pleasant to see & hear you BOTH!. Thanks for the tour!.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thank you! I was planning to visit Cheddar Gorge with my husband but now I know the walk is way beyond his walking abilities. But we still will go! Just stick to the village and a drive-through I guess ;)

Happy holidays! It wasn’t too bad, just take it slow and steady.
The cave cheese is wonderful but soooo expensive but wonderful
Amazing place, I hope you have had a good nights sleep now😊

Lol
Trekking poles!
I have wondered about trying them but it makes it hard to hold a camera at the same time.
🇮🇩🙏🙏💞💞
Beautiful but ruined by all the car parking!
Sorry for the foggy weather. And, no thanks, those rocks would be the death of me.
Gorge-ous
.... I'll get my coat
😂
