Where did you buy this nav unit from mate? This is my next project. I just took of my foot lever and replaced it with a toe n heel lever, so now I’m onto the nav unit next
Hey, Ben. Which year/model did you buy? I bought mine from eBay - there are plenty on there for sale. I could send you the link for the one I got, but they’re now $50 more and may not fit your bike. Do a search for your model/year and see what comes up. All the best with the bike and enjoy the modding experience ✌️
I actually removed the Tripper from my Himalayan! 1) too simplistic for five way junctions 2) required phone app drains battery in hours 3) switched to night mode an hour after dark always found it much brighter than the other instruments. Bottom line is if you have to have you phone, I'll just use my phone.
Greetings, below is a link to a Sat Nav for your bike. Once it’s open you can navigate for items on eBay that may be cheaper. Cheers, Len www.ebay.com.au/itm/195342916953?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=vrdb_kt5t2e&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=CNs5WtG9Q0i&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
Hey, I saw you post the other day, thanks for the memory jog. Was it back in about 2010, or thereabouts. I remember getting the bike on the back of your ute. You’re from near Maryland?
@@motostralia5563 Yeah mate I wasn't sure it was you. It was a while ago. Yeah was at Maryland , bit of a tumble weed out near Dubbo now. Still got the BM love it. Good to see your still riding. Glad I stumbled across ya! One new Sub.
Sounds like a strange thing for RE to do if that is the case. You’d think that all the wiring looms would be the same regardless of country destination. Might need to pull the headlight out of a new one to check. Cheers
Mine was like this. There is a patch cable available that's actually for the Scram411 but it works..6 pin tripper plug one end, three pin plug at the other to latch in to the accessory socket in the binnacle. RE part number is RAC00826/A, cost me less than a fiver Sterling.

2022 model, what can you advise me?
I ride this road a lot, got the same bike but 2024. I’ll give you a wave if I see you out and about.
I’ll keep an eye out for you, Bob 😃

Also I think the tripper interfered with the magnetic compass which now works much better without the tripper installed.
Interesting, thanks for sharing 👍
Hello,
Would you be able to reply to this comment with the link of the Sat nav unit you bought on Ebay? It's for a 2022 Royal Enfield classic 350.

Hey Len , you didn't happen to own a 1976 BMW R75/6 by any chance?

@@pushrod76 Thanks, mate. I’m pleased you’ve still got the bike. And thanks for the subscription. Take care, Len
As I understand the new bikes come without the harness for the Tripper Navigation system!
Not sure how we could wire it now!

@@motostralia5563 already did as some of my colleagues and the harness is not there! The new ones come without it! Probably cutting costs!
@@rocoltro that’s interesting and a bit baffling. Yep, probably a cost thing? 🤷♂️
