The 2019 and 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, Blazer, Equinox, and Trax are all great vehicles! In this upload I hope to shed some light on the basics between Chevrolet's four crossover models. chevys always seem nice at a glance. after some time owning you realize how gm cuts so many corners in their vehicles. even higher trim models such as the LT trims and LTZ etc lack simple features such as heated side mirrors which other companies offer and at lower prices as well
Went from a 2017 Malibu to a 2019 equinox premier AWD. Wanted a Colorado but to much money. SUV suits me better anyway. I’m happy.

This would be a GREAT training video for a new Chevy salesman too watch, I'd imagine these 4 vehicles would make up a bulk of new car sales at most chevy stores.

Thank you for explaining the SUV's. I'm looking for a used, hopefully Traverse. I just didn't understand how each SUV differed from each other. I know I don't want a Trax. They didn't have very good reviews. If I lived in North Jersey, I would stop in and see you !

Love my ‘19 Equinox LT AWD. Great car overall. Good power, drives nice and smooth. Only thing I really don’t like is that the remote start feature via the My Chevy app is now a paid service compared to my previous ‘16 Malibu which offered it for free.
Yea I agree, it used to be free for 5 years. Now it is $14 bucks a month for just the ap, $10 bucks if you pair it with Onstar Safety Package
I own the Traverse. I'm seriously looking at the Blazer for my next vehicle.
I have a 2019 Trax. It's not a bad little car and I intend to hang onto it. What I like is that it DOESN'T have start/stop, DOESN'T hit the brakes on its own, and DOESN'T steer by itself.
the Equinox is an A plus. I will buy one when I got the money !!

I love the Traverse. But I love the Blazer and Trax. The only one I don’t really care for is the Equinox. I like it. But I don’t like the radio. There’s like little bass in the car. And the last gen was like that a bit but it sounded better. Also the traverse is weird when it has the Bose system in it. It won’t let you play with the bass or anything like that. I tried looking in the entire system in the settings and radio. And I cannot find it anywhere. But it’s a good thing it already sounds great with bass and the mids. And the highs are in a perfect sweet spot. Not tinny, not super loud to hurt your ears, and not flat. It sounds perfect. The sonic sounded nice too. I loved it. It felt extremely sporty. When I sat in the seat. I felt comfortable and ready to speed.
Took a vehicle in for a warranty issue and got a Trax as a loaner...no cruise control...but I found it a fun and nimble vehicle to drive. The dealership used these vehicles as loaners as a matter of course; they're inexpensive, so it seemed like a good decision to me...the cheaper the vehicle, the less the dealer loses on depreciation....

Two days ago I just purchased a 2022 equinox premier. I would like to know how much bigger is the traverse than the equinox. They look very similar in shape. My only complaint about the Equinox is I wish they would have put the four spoke steering wheel from the traverse in the Equinox I think it's a nicer wheel. I paid $29,000 for my Equinox premiere. The traverse premier was 50,000. For a $20,000 difference I don't see what is different about the two other than the third row seat and of course the traverse has a V6.

Chevy needs to up there game in the warranty and "free" maintenance area. Should be FREE routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation) for 36 months. Also, GMAC sucks for customer service. And .25/mile for mileage overage on lease is robbery.

Why can’t Chevy match Hyundai warranty program? Hyundai offers 5 years or 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and 10 years or 100,000 mile on power train ? Etc. Does the Blazer come with a 4cylinder turbo? If so, HP? Dave, thanks for excellent presentation!
The 2020 Blazer does offer the 2.0L Turbo and it has 230 HP. Chevy can match the warranty but it would be in the form of an extended for additional price.
The new Trailblazer should be called the Chevy Tracker. We Have an 18 Traverse and I just got a 19 Equinox. They are great ! The blazer is beautiful but maybe in a few years lol

That Trailblazer looks nice. Do you know if it will be in the compact segment with the Equinox? I know Hyundai has two vehicles in the compact segment and they both seem to sell pretty well. I just hope the Trailblazer is closer to the Equinox in size.
All we know so far it will be sized between the Trax and Equinox .. GM is supposed to announce another EV this summer and they didn't release anything yet about the Trailblazer powertrain.......hmmmmm

Me watching in 2024 there's no traverse cheaper than 40K with Incentives 😢. They're really nice though, very spacious.

I traded in my 2016 for the 2020 and the 2020 is larger. I am devastated because I loved the true compact suv 2016 also the 2016 had all these extra cubby holes a little sunglasses holder in the dashboard and another small compartment above the glove compartment the 2020 is bigger all around and only has one big glove compartment. I was wondering if the 2019 is the same size as the 2016 and has these extra cubby holes. I wanted to get a 2019 but I think most of them were sold because I couldn’t seem to find any for lease. I think the trax has become a very popular compact suv since it first came out. Do you know if the size of the 2019 is the same as the 2016? It will make me feel better if I at least know that the 2019 and 2020 are the same size. I would have loved to keep my 2016 and buy it but I don’t like to deal with car maintenance as the car gets older.
The 2019 is the same as the 2020. The Trax has gained a lot of popularity in our dealership since the discontinued the Cruze

I think most traverse consumers would be ok with sacrificing cargo area in order to gain more leg room in the 3rd row (with the 3rd row up). When we need the cargo space in my wife's 1st gen Acadia, we put the 3rd row down anyway. When it's time to upgrade, going with the traverse or suburban for the gained space.

Dave B sells Chevy I was a Chevrolet guy for a lot of years my last Chevy dealership experience soured me on them so I went to ram which I love but I’m just tired of the crappy gas mileage on V-8’s so I am looking for a half ton diesel because they get almost 30 miles a gallon with the four-wheel-drive version It’ll be an eco-diesel ram or a Duramax 1500 Silverado

I wonder about the 0-60 is for the Blazer and Traverse.
6.9 seconds for the Traverse. Mine hauls ass. The power delivery is super smooth and the sound is fantastic.
I also have a 2013 Journey SXT that feels like it has more power (Less power but less weight too) but it is much more brutal in it's power delivery and nowhere near as smooth as the Traverse. I actually believe the Traverse 0-60s faster than the Journey, it's just so smooth that it feels slower.

The 2021 Trailblazer looks very meh. Especially considering the Trailblazer was a body-on-frame truck with available 3rd row. I still have my 2005 Trailblazer EXT and it has been an incredible hauler and tow vehicle. While my new Traverse has taken over the people moving duties, the Trailblazer will still be my primary hauling vehicle. Sometimes you just need a rear-drive body-on-frame truck with ground clearance, and I don't see that in the new Trailblazer at all.
My one gripe with Chevy these days is taking their legacy names from body-on-frame SUVs (Blazer and Trailblazer) and putting them on crossovers. How long before the Tahoe and Suburban are unibody crossovers?
