Waller should’ve checked their programming and realize that absorbing super families will give me the sense of morality. Some of the Amazos will work with brainiac queen.
Waller is somewhat making the same mistake Frieza was making after he achieved absolute power with his new form. Failsafe too should’ve calculated that the robots stealing super family and other individuals superpowers would affect their programming and turn them into sentient beings like Vision and Ultron. 8:12
I like that Carol and the JSA interacted with each other to explain what’s going on. I wonder if Carol and Alan will tell each other that they known Hal for decades in the upcoming Green Lantern issue, including Carol knowing Hal since her childhood in the 1930s and 1940s (in the pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity, since Hal and Carol were born in 1930) and Hal and Alan knowing each other since the first JLA/JSA team-up in 1963. Also, Magic users (including Monkey Prince and Xanthe Xhou) in the Oblivion Bar before they were captured by the Amazon robot. For the Steve Trevor backup, I like that Steve pretended to be one of the guards so that he can find a way to defeat Waller’s forces and save the superhero community. Also, Alan and the JSA going to the Tower of Fate and meeting Stitch, who last appeared in Titans Academy, Dark Crisis, and a cameo of Speed Force and has potential (even though Dawn of DC didn’t do anything for them), before they encountered an Amazo, who asked Alan why being a hero is the right thing to do. Overall, this is a good backup.
@@debbiebernhardt5406 but how??? When they're using other people's power. Powers PM has fought or trained against. I get that they have multiple powers at once. But, can't he do them like he did Flash???
"New found power"? Yeah, NO because Carol has had the sapphire ring for years even if she rarely used it. This is if they didn't retcon it to where this is her first time getting the ring. She is the one character who is the most familiar with the Star Sapphire\Violet Spectrum power in all of DC.
I appreciate you keeping up with the DC Line. I am not able to keep up with DC personally as I have been keeping up with a lot of marvel titles. Thanks bro, Hoohah
It could be friendship or brotherhood. Or maybe the seven Amazo robots will go looking for another life or earth, which could be said to be a comfortable home for them to live in.
Watch the mighty heroes fall one by one. No Crisis could bring this about. No zombie virus or Brother Eye could. Even Darkseid would be impressed. All it took was the paranoia and megalomania of a bitter woman, a civil servant. I have the feeling that the heroes will need more than a miracle to get out of this.🤔
@@ThatskeybladeloverGood question. This reminds me of Asimov's three laws. You know, where a robot should always obey and not hurt people and should only put itself in danger to comply with the previous laws. Of course, she has varied it a little. After all, she is an evil woman who wants to destroy superheroes. And in doing so, she risks an uprising a la Skynet. In any case, these Amazo descendants react not necessarily conforming to her orders. The uprising could come. And then Waller needs those she is hunting against her "Ultron".😉

@@christofferpardosi1765 I don't know much about Megatron's crew. Just that they are not particularly trustworthy. But I think any machine that can develop further is capable of rebelling sooner or later. Sometimes all it takes is an upgrade or a wrong command, like in the SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT episode with the robot ship in Lower Decks. Human arrogance is blind to the possibilities that other, artificial life forms might have sooner or later. And that is the key to humanity's self-destruction.🤔

i'm with everyone else. even assuming waller never bothered to think on it, failsafe should/would have seen it coming he's suppose to be able to outthink batman and even was combined with a version of batman with zur, it seems odd that he wouldnt have at least considered it. or perhaps he did and its part of his own plan. hard to say so far but still it being an oversight for Failsafe just feels out of place. well either way i'm curious to see where this may go.
Let's be honest if waller made these amazos after failsafe you'd think she'd have a way to control them ,then there's the whole absorbing powers and a bit of that person's personality but your powers aren't tied to your personality in any sense , they're completely different.but hey comics gotta have a plot hole i guess
People comparing this series marvel ultimate comics series but this is more like ai take overs and ai gaining human conciseness trying to take over somewhat like terminator universe
Every time they absorb super hero families and their friend’s abilities, they gain the power of choice. Have we not learn from X-men when mastermold decided to eliminate all human beings with a dormant X-gene.
I'm already calling it. The Amazos are going to rebel against Waller. And I can't wait to see that happen.
Ofcourse this was gonna backfire
@@QTcomicsPOPFailsafe should’ve seen this coming. Apparently he didn’t think about the backlash of Amazo absorbing powers and achieving free will.
@@Thatskeybladelover waller should've seen it
I have bad feeling about Steve; I don’t think he’s going to make it. I wanna see Alan interact with the other Earth Green Lanterns.
He might survive this but the war against the amazons will probably be his final act
this is starting to turn out well. table is turning.

I’m mostly interested in if Oliver Queen/Green Arrow will backstab Amanda Waller.

It's a trip how Plastic Man never is apart of these crisis. Injustice, yeah. But nothing else. He would mop the floor with so many villains.
He's being left alone as he's too weak against other robots like these with powers.

I am digging this series and I can't wait for the Amazos to meet Nightwing.
Robots have super strong will and imagination.

Idk what darkseid has to do with this but hes good
I think for something else or lost. Maybe he came to look for another artifact or something

Love the 'tongue-in-cheek' cover!
Hal was "born" on that date 07/28/1959, though his publishing date was in October 1959. 👍😎

I think Alan Scott will be the MVP in Absolute Power.
What happens when the weapons used to defeat heros gain freedom?
