You forgot an s tho, which I don't want to say to be nitpicky but to further elaborate. Because that is the difficult part. Without the s it would have to be two words, like Eierschalensollbruchverursacherverkaufsstand-Mitarbeiter, while with the s it can be one word, like Eierschalensollbruchverursacherverkaufsstandsmitarbeiter. Also for all non Germans reading this, here is how the word is made up: Ei (eggs) Schale (shell) soll (should) bruch (break) stelle (place) verursacher (causer) verkauf (sale) stand (stand) mitarbeiter (worker). In-between are some pieces to make the word chain make sense, and some of these words would not directly be perceived as connected words, like eierschale (eggshell) or bruchstelle (breakage) but are constructed just the same. It is something Germans are quite used to and will most likely understand fine (even though there of course are some things that are unnecessary stretched out and wouldn't be used normally and so could cause trouble understanding) but can be very difficult for non-native speakers. This got pretty long, if anyone actually read this, congrats, you spent your time reading a comment beneath a comment, commented under a short, that I as someone with no expertise wrote at 00:46 am

As a german i can confirm most of it. The thing with TH-cam videos is already cleared in the comments but for our drinking age: you can legally buy beer and wine at age 16 and harder stuff at age 18. if you drink is more or less in the hands of your parents most of the people i know had there first beer around age 14 or at least some sips. But if any adult would see an unsupervised 14 year old drinking most of us would say something. Fun fact about Germany: we have the only language with a word describing when you are happy that something bad happened to somebody else. Can be something silly like when a person slips in a banana and falls but also can happiness about a building burning down. The word is "Schadenfreude"
in german we like to combine words. we use a combination of the main-object and a word to describe it further. Sometimes it can become very long and specific. English has: Snail and Slug Two difference words for nearly the same thing. German has: Schnecke (snail) and Nacktschnecke (slug) The word "nackt" means naked or nude. The slug is just a snail without her house, so it is naked. Nackedsnail.

Don’t blame them for being quietly proud of themselves this time… last time they were loudly proud of themselves it caused the sun to visit Japan twice
Be proud for who you are, for what your nationality is, just because some horrible thing happened in the past, it doesn't mean you shouldn't stay proud of yourself, you all have every right to be proud of who you are
But its not just 'some horrible thing' its THE horrible thing. In Germany it's taught heavily in class to prevent something like that from happening again. Survivors get called into school. You can be proud but like the video said it's a passive quiet price and that's very classy unlike brash outlandish pride.
Our long words are really useful. For those who may learn right now and find it confusing. Its always just two or more nouns after another describing the thing. Whats the thing? The thing is the last used noun. So an easy one from the video like Backpfeifengesicht: Backpfeife is a slap and Gesicht a face. Since face comes last the slap describes the face -> slapable face (and yes I know Backpfeife is also two nouns, why those two describe a slap I do not know for sure, but the first word Back comes from Backe, so your Cheek). If you turn around the nouns it becomes something different. Eg Bauzaun is a fence used for construction, while a Zaunbau would be the act of building a fence

Very creative when giving names: "Hey Hans how should we name this Lazy Animal?" Hans: " Hmm... Lazy Animal" (The Sloth is named Faultier that translates to Lazy Animal)
It's also in the Dutch constitution that you must help someone in distress to your fullest of capacity. It's in Dutch called burgerplicht roughly translated to civilian duty.
Pretty much every Germanic language used to have that word-sandbox quality. It's just that most of them eventually kind of modernised and stopped doing that. That can be paired with the fall of the grammatical cases in every Germanic language except German and Icelandic, both of which really stayed true to their origin, so German did not lose that attribute.
For those who want to know; donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft translates to the group of people responsible for the building of the main electric motor of a steam engine ship in the danube

Like there are actually just devices called „Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher“
They’re literally just eggcrackers
The best part is that you could just keep making the word longer if you wanted to, for example if you have a stand where you sell the eggcrackers that would be a „Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacherverkaufsstand“ and if your an employee there you’d be a „Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacherverkaufsstandmitarbeiter“
And you can keep going for as long as you want XD
I wonder how much space and paper you must have for exams (subject:German)
I made some mistakes, it's eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacherverkaufstand and Ei means singular Egg
But you have to add that its not the norm and we germans won't use terrible long words most of the time

It can even go as far as getting the „Jugendamt“ (something like childcare) involved and the children can be taken from the parents if they think the parents are at fault and they can’t help to fix the problems

So... the one with the blocked Videos is definitely false
Yep
