Not everyone has a large tribe to do boss fights with. The Broodmother is the perfect starter boss to do solo. Even Alpha. I show you how to prepare, what to do, and how to go into the fight. It's really easy.

Props for calling out the click bait videos. I've seen way too many of those making it look really easy but as you stated, they never divulge what settings they are running or they just spawn in unrealistic tames. SP vs. MP makes a huge difference. Your video shows the fight with "realworld" results that you would expect on an official or private server.
So I just finished 100 pt mutations in health and melee for my megatheriums. I was strolling around YT to check my strats and stats and found this video! First you explain mutating and breeding more clearly than anyone, now you reassure me that I'll be fine! Thank you so much for your hard work and content! ❤️
Also make sure to have some decent saddles. But I think megatherium saddle bps should be faily easy to find
@@TiiaAurora where do you find these saddle bps do you just get lucky with gold and red drops?
Cave drops are the way to go really. Sometimes you can be lucky with red drops too

Since I didn't mention it in the video: The megatherium saddles were between 70 and 130. A mixture of MC and Ascendant Saddles. I leveled them about 30k into life but I probably would go 35k at least if you want everyone to survive.

@@kinggoddavid5104 1.3k with leveling and imprint. You're perfectly fine with less tho. Just takes longer.
I really appreciate the vanilla take on it. So many streamers beat their chests with their elite skills, but are either modded to the gills or in single player mode. Ty. It's good to see someone who challenges themselves.
Very nice video! A friend and I have been doing a mix of Megatheriums and Rexes, and we take one Yuty for the buffs and one Daeodon for healing. So far we've done gamma and beta, and hope the strategy will continue to be successful with the alpha.
Never try this with the other bosses you will get crushed

Tiia how do you discern which babies to save and which need to die once they hatch from eggs? All I do is fully imprint them and I think I'm ready for boss battles. Dont think that is the smart pathway though, so I'm intrigued as to how you go about breeding and knowing which to keep and which to slaughter. Thank you
You can also do with a Velo.. have your Yuty set you auto buff.. place them out of danger.. Megatherium go in.. and you shoot the Spider with the Velo.. the Added Damage makes a huge difference. Since she is Dying faster. you shouldn't lose any Megatheriums. Also if you do have Tribe Mates they can use other Velos or they can use the Yuty
Autobuff on the yuty unfortunately only works in singleplayer.

@@natchilusdemus8896 Allo blood does not work on Bosses. Only the Deino can use it.

there is a glitch where you need a kangroo jump up onto the mushrooms and shootgun it more people = beta or alpha learned this on a pve server i remember i was in i big tribe (13)
Thanks for a concise guide. Just prepping my Megatherium squad for Alpha after having done Gamma and Beta reasonably unscathed. Considering loading each with Sweet Veggie Cakes ... any thoughts appreciated
For Alpha you want good saddles and good stats. Cake for sure. The step between beta and alpha is pretty big.
@@TiiaAurora The cakes are useless for omnivores like the Megatherium and Dire Bear. Only works on pure herbivores.
I have a pair of megatheirums both are 29 Base Health and 31 Base Melee, How can I increase the base stat?!
By mutating them
how is it possible that u only have 14 mutations > and have 100 points in them ? that means u have tamed it with 86 points ???? thats sounds to good to be true.... most people aim for are 40-50 points (after taming) for breeding
I used s+ mutators to speed up mutations for the tutorial. They give more points per mutation. On vanilla you need more mutations. On official they are already available like that.
Also mutations give you 2 point in official.
Me and my buddy just did it with rexes and a yuty. But im confused because it didn't give us the ability to gain 15 more lvls. We are both maxed at 110.

how much levels did the HP and melee megtheriums had before taming?

i had 19 megatheriums with 20k health and 900% melee and still lost explain pls i lost so easy it killed them in like 10 shots
What were their saddles? If you used none or primitive then your Megas were doomed. You need saddles with 90+ armor or more of you want them to survive
Any tips on finding good sloth saddles and/or their bp?
They are in the Loot-Table of Yellow and Red drops.

So I play in control but my control kinda wacky I need a new one but every time I try to put Pooh Tun health and damages it goes crazy and sometime it make me click weight,stamina,food,speed, or oxygen

@@TiiaAurora the stats of the megatheriums are way to high for an average or even alpha tribe on official pvp server. I know the megatherium strat works but I need realistic stats to ho off. Not super dinos.
I keep hearing the sloths are good for the brood mother but they are just so...slothy. lol
Please try to make a video with official (pve/pvp your choice). its too easy now a day to make a non official video... But it was cool to see it. On official, this would be weird to have only lvl 300 around Megatherium with only 300/450 mele damage and around 12k health survive a Alpha broodmother...
This is official settings. Nothing has been altered.

@@johny_c s+ does not alter dinosaur stats the same way it doesn't alter the difficulty of bosses. Both things are decided by the ini-file of the server and here I copied over the ini from official to match my settings. As an official player, you should know that tho.

I’d hate to be stuck in your head with a narrow mind like that. S+ is a quality of life mod, not a dino-altering one like Tiia also wrote. It would benefit you to acquire some knowledge about the discussions you start to not make yourself look like a whiny fool.
