I really respect how Devon changes his angles so he doesn't hurt anyone.
I was thinking the same thing. Dude kept turning his body trying to press but never got back and Devon could have hurt him bad but instead turned to get in front of him.
@@bjrollick5262 yeah Devon is extremely high level. a lot of people don’t realize that on a lot of these pulls devons giving them the angle etc a lot of the time to make it harder on himself or just work on angles he might be slightly weaker in.

@@michaeltrumph121 Michael stands a better chance of beating Levan, that's for sure. Dave has one style and a relatively low table IQ. His power would get him by many of the Eastern Europeans, but not Levan. Michael is the absolute best in the West; and yet, Devon presents the most match-up problems for him, even though Devon wouldn't present problems for Levan. Styles make fights.

He is unwilling to adapt and thats why he doesn't have the spotlight. I think Dave Chaffee to upright in his approach both mentally and physically.

Love the music. In case you missed this on your last video.....DUDE....you have to a do a TV show with Michael touring the country, finding and challenging the top undiscovered armwrestling talent, sort of an arm wrestling pickers! Think of the dynamics/bickering/comradery between you two, and the freaks of nature you might find in some remote farming town or blue collar industrial location. In between matches you can do all sorts of random, fun stuff throughout N. America. Eventually you could branch out to the rest of the world. Most of the world doesn't know anything about arm wrestling, and you two are endlessly entertaining!

I think it would be more interesting to do it with someone stronger & more flexible than Todd. Todd can't really afford to have as much fun as Devon, his arms are fucked from all that kings moving & joint locking & shoulder fuck upage.

Devon, I like the concept of the pumpkin and the experimenting, I just wish you would bulk up healthier. If micheal ate like you are, he would go straight down hill. If you want your carbs, try raw natural honey, plenty of animal fats and proteins

So many of these other armwrestlers make excuses before their pulls - "I just did a workout", "my arm is dead", "i pulled a muscle", "I am not feeling strong today so will prob lose", "my big toe is sore" ... Devon just gets on with it and pulls anyone and everyone. By far the best representative of the sport.

As a lot of people have said, I love the piano -- it's like the calm in the center of the storm, which is how you have to be sometimes (maybe moreso when things get scary).

No training, but plenty of partying (sparring & friendly matches), that's what makes it the "party arm" :D
Someone should try taking this concept to the extreme & improve one arm ONLY with armwrestling and the other ONLY with weight training(specialized for armwrestling ofc). I wonder which would be stronger/better.

I love the strength of your wrist pronation when you feel a slight threat of getting pinned. It is pure experience and power to be able to pronate your wrist like that and overpower your opponent when he has your arm extended in his favor. Without a lot of experience, the pronation in that position can easily cause an injury on the inside part of the forearm close to the elbow.
Respect, Devon will actually give you a second Round and not for money because he really enjoys the sport till this day!!

Functional strength is different than gym strength and makes you a lot stronger than the average person, athlete or bodybuilder. Functional strength increases with age or is developed with labor intensive work. Mechanics, construction workers, miners, brickmasons, carpenters and farmers all develop high functional strength. Keep in mind, strength is not only muscle but tendons, ligaments, bone and the whole framework of connective tissue. If one decides to develop their functional strength along with weight lifting and resistance training, they unlock beast mode.

It could simply be that most people's left is weaker but everytime you battle left it appears as though you exert less effort than you do with the right
