Major General VPS Bhakuni, VSM, was commissioned into the Dogra Regiment in 1981. He has rendered distinguished service of 37 years in the Armed Forces. The General Officer has participated in various operations including Counter Insurgency operations viz., Operation Pawan (Sri Lanka-IPKF), Operation Rakshak and Operation Parakram in Jammu & Kashmir. The General Officer has performed the duties of Colonel General Staff (Operations) of a Corps in Western Theatre and MGGS (Info Sys) and Chief of Staff of prestigious 15 Corps in Srinagar when Kashmir was under floods in Sep 2015. The General Officer assumed the responsibility of Commandant, Selection Centre South in Jan 2016 which is tasked to select officers for Army, Navy and Air Force till his retirement in June 2018.

His assessment of her was on the money. I gave her a score of 48 at home. No question she will be vey successful at what ever career path she takes. I am sure the army can find a spot for her as a paper pusher ,clerk.
I found her missing in core qualities....
1.she is arrogant
2.she is self obsessed
3.she is little bit hard to train
As she said in her strength
She is happy ,what she is
This shows lack of adjusting and accepting attitude..
She is looking more lean towards pay and parks
Not towards her goal..
If this kind of attitude she is before rank and power
After getting it she will become more dangerous..
She is having many good qualities
1.confident
2.Honest
And many as they mentioned in feedback

She was confident but she lacked general knowledge.....she didn't know about Himachal Pradesh and she had came for ssb so she should have knowledge about army which she lacked.....she gave WRONG information about 100 metre race....the world record is 9.58 s but she told 8.2......overall i would like to say that she was confident but she should study and work on general knowledge....she should have a proper aim....thank you.....JAI HIND

Watch English movies, try to learn new fancy words. Communicate in English with someone who has good English speaking skills and let them correct you. Write essays, book reviews, movie reviews.

If you would like to get assessed by him then you can take his online interview and psych assessment test. You can schedule the sessions according to your convenience.

Is there any other branch of yours who are guiding the northern parts of the India basically I am from himachal Pradesh and here we don't have guiding faculties. I will request you to guide us also here we are lacking a mentor like you I personally want to meet you and get trained but my family always wanted me to go for civil services side but I really want to be a part of the armed forces.

This girl has spoken better English then this General in the Interview. I would give 80 marks to the girl and 10 marks to this Interviewing Officer. THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT WAY TO CONDUCT THE INTERVIEW, IT SHOULD BE ONE TO ONE INTERVIEW NOT IN THE PRESENCE OF EVEN A ONE PERSON , ONLY THE UNDER TRAINING IO IS THERE IN THE SSB. OTHER WISE NORMALLY ONLY ONE IO IS THERE.
