Major General VPS Bhakuni, VSM, was commissioned into the Dogra Regiment in 1981. He has rendered distinguished service of 37 years in the Armed Forces. The General Officer has participated in various operations including Counter Insurgency operations viz., Operation Pawan (Sri Lanka-IPKF), Operation Rakshak, and Operation Parakram in Jammu & Kashmir. The General Officer has performed the duties of Colonel General Staff (Operations) of a Corps in Western Theatre and MGGS (Info Sys) and Chief of Staff of the prestigious 15 Corps in Srinagar when Kashmir was under floods in Sep 2015. The General Officer assumed the responsibility of Commandant, Selection Centre South in Jan 2016 which is tasked to select officers for Army, Navy, and Air Force till his retirement in June 2018.

Bhakuni sir is too OP for interviewing candidates. I recommend you all aspirants to please have at least one interview with Bhakuni sir as his way of taking interview is too good.
Also specially the way sir smiles in between the interview is trap for most of the candidates. As sir makes the candidates comfortable & gets to know all about his personality whether he's trying to fake it or genuinely speaking the truth.

Officer should be able to convince other soldier to follow his order. So thats what an officer does.. tell other soldiers what to do!

I am ncc c certificate holder with A grade and It took 5 years to clear my bsc graduation. Will it effect on my ssb interview with respect to my graduation.I have 71% in 10 , 56% in 12 and 59% in graduation
Bruh if u have a valid reason for ur down grade then it will not effect but if u just wasted it than u might get negative marking
Bro my friend is selected in ssb he got 73 in 10th and 65 in 12 he also told me that just give a valid reason and nothing else it will not effect your ssb marks

Sir, mera yek doubt clear kr do please..... Sir mere 10th me 56% hai and 12th me 47% ..... And sir mai abhi BA graduation kr raha hu and abhi final year me hu.....
Sir maan lo ki mai SSB me achha krta hu till last .... To sir mai OTA ke liye select ho paunga kya ...ya phir 10th aur 12th ka persentage dekhe ke mujhe select nhi kiya jayega .....
And sir meri hight 160cm hai .....

Your 12th minimum percentage should be 60%
Suppose you and one more person have the same SSB marks, so how will your position in the merit list be decided? It will be based on 12th marks
Kyunki aapke 47% h so try to score as much as possible in your interview...aap definitely select ho jaaoge...😊
